Happy customer
Excellent Brita Marella water jug + filters! I love the he graphite color of the lid which makes the jug look very nice. The water is very clear and tastes good and the filters we have left (Maxtra +) are compatible as explained by Gary when I contacted him to have more information, so it is excellent.

I LOVE WATER
This jug didn’t just change my life—it rewrote my biology. I used to sip. Now I GLUG. [glug glug glug] Since getting it, I’ve reached hydration levels previously reserved for aquatic mammals. My skin glows. My organs cheer. I sweat like a well-tuned rainforest. [glug] I’ve peed 14 times today and I feel invincible. Birds chirp in sync with my hydration schedule. I think I just unlocked telepathy with houseplants. 11/10. I don’t drink water anymore. I wield it. No but seriously, the limescale is disgusting where I live. This filter makes it not only tolerable to drink the tap water, but a pleasure! Add in a couple of ice cubes and it's better than bottled water, and cheaper.

best water filter
After few month of using a Brita, and only a couple using this filter I was looking for a pitcher that would take out the majority of chemicals without taking out all of the minerals. Brita does not take out fluoride, and ZeroWater stripped my water down so much that my thirst was never quenched. (Incidentally, bottled water that has been filtered by reverse osmosis has minerals added back into it because you need them for taste.) While I wasn't a fan of the color (pink was all that was available when I ordered), I saw that it took out the chlorine and fluoride while still leaving some minerals. It took me about a week to adjust to the water taste, which seemed strong after having used the Zero brand. But it's worth it: it now only takes me a glass of two of water to feel satisfied on a hot day. The design is very user friendly. The top is easily removed, and there is a spring loaded quick-fill lid. You can either push it down and to the right, which locks it in place until you are done adding water, or just push it down with the faucet head; the water lifts it as the reservoir fills. The filter portion of the Brita would shift, and the ZeroWater chamber would fall off and spill water everywhere. They also tended to harbor mold in the nooks and crannies. Not so with this filter. If I've filled the reservoir and I need water right away, I just make sure to hold the top portion firmly with my thumb, which is easy to do since it is right by the handle where I grip it. One thing that I also really enjoy about the design is that it doesn't leak water down the spout/pitcher when pouring. This is a first for me. One of my concerns with this filter was the electronic water quality indicator. I don't like the idea of having a battery in the fridge where it will be subject to condensation. Fortunately, all that is necessary to remove it is to pinch the edges and pull it out. I am saving it simply because I can use it to test water in a glass. Filter installation is straightforward. Peel off two plastic tabs on the top and insert. The weight of the water helps seat it in if you're nervous about the fit. Mine has yet to come loose. I had to discard/donate the first three filtrations to the plants, but my water supply had a high amount of mineral content, so it may not take as much for you. All in all, a quality purchase.

Good but filters only last 20 liters
I really enjoy this product. Easy to use, great water taste. Amazing tea and coffee can be done with this water. But it becomes very expensive since the filters only last for around 20 times/fills/liters around one week for me. When it should be 100 liters and one month. The best way to see if the water is clean or not is when making tea. If the water is completely clean, there is nothing on the surface of the tea; if the water is not clean, it is possible to see transparent stains on the surface. First time I used a filter I start to see the dirty on top of the tea after one week. So I decided to change, and this time take notes how many times I fill it. The second time again, just one week again, and looking to my notes, 20 useful fills/liters. I don't know what is the dirty, if it's limescale or other thing. I know that there is another filter that announces 50% more efficiency against limescale, if what I see is limescale, this should last for more time. But even then, not sure if time enough to justify the investment. 50% more would be half week more? Since my package came with 6 filters, I'll keep using it, one filter per week, when it finishes, I'll buy the limescale ones. Because I really prefer using this than to carry bottles of water around. Financially, using the normal cartridge, if a package of 6 costs £25, the price per liter is -> £25/6units/20liters ~ £ 0.21 + price of water/l I think it is still a good price, but way too far from what is announced by the brand. Please consider, this might be different from zone to zone, I live in London E14.
