Received a replacement and it works perfectly. Thank you!!!I like the look, feel and size. But no matter how long I try and pump butane into this it will only stay lit for a few seconds. Then will not reignite until I try adding more butane, so something is not working correctly. Very disappointing. I wanted to reach out to the seller before living a bad review, but could not navigate around the Amazon chatbot. If someone wants to reach out and tell me what I am doing wrong and the product works like it should, I am happy to write an update.I have a much cheaper one of these that cost $10 called Legendary Chief and it works great. Just hate the color, lol.

Feels good, looks good, works good. I like it. I’ve always used Bernzomatic torches and they SUCK. Child safety switch is hard to use, they break just shy of a year EVERYTIME. It’s just a crap product to use. This one however, is user friendly. Just pull the trigger and lite.

It doesn't come with butane, as the description states. I found it a little hard to fill (but that is my personal problem). My husband filled it easily. Works great on creme brulee or meringue. It is not meant for searing meat or kabobs of fondue toppings. Only made for quick applications. Price is good and has safety features (as described). Well packaged and good instructions.

12/30/24 Update: Over 1 year old and STILL WORKS! I've had bad luck with others, but I'm amazed it's still going strong! Bought on 10/23! Upgraded to 5 stars despite its drawbacks.Excellent quality. Does what it should do, and very quickly. A few things to be aware of: 1. It is much smaller than I anticipated, but that's ok. It's about .5lb, and appears to be well made in terms of craftsmanship. Does not get overly warm during extended burn times. Quiet operation, no noisy clicks for ignition. 2. It's not a precision sharp flame like you'd get from a gas station torch. The flame is big in diameter; not good for precision welding, crafts and such. Also, the conversion switch from torch to "soft" flame isn't what I expected. You won't get a yellow flame in this setting. 3. Very tricky to fill. NO fuel window! Maybe I haven't found the right nozzle to use, but a little less than half the fluid is wasted going in. Otherwise, it's fine for what I needed it for and the price was right.Although I give it 4 stars, I probably would NOT buy it again if I needed an additional one because of what I pointed out. Needs a bit of re-engineering.

I’ve been on the hunt for a small torch to clean up fine stringing on my 3D prints, and this one is a total game-changer. What I love most is that it shuts off as soon as you release the trigger—so much safer and easier to use compared to my old cheap Harbor Freight torch. That one technically still works, but I never felt comfortable using it because you need two hands to turn it off. This new torch, though? Solid build, high-quality feel, and super simple: press the trigger, zap the stringing, let go, and you’re done. If you’re into 3D printing (or just need a reliable torch for other projects), I’d say this is absolutely worth it!

This works very well, we are quite pleased with it overall -- and for the price, especially, would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a great kitchen or cocktailing torch!

They advertise that ANY butane will work, so I got a 5.6 oz can of BernzOmatic butane. This is what I found: A) The BernzOmatic can does not directly fit the torch, you need an adapter!. B) The red nozzle adapters that come with the torch do not fit the BernzOmatic nozzle. C) The BernzOmatic can comes with 5 adapters. D) Two of the BernzOmatic adapters don't fit the bottom of the torch at all. E) Three of the BernzOmatic adapters fit into the bottom of the torch. F) They all leak like a broken water pipe!Apparently I was able to get some butane in the torch and it works great, but I have no idea how much butane is in the torch, or how long it will last. I feel like more butane landed on the table top than got into the torch. So I agree with others that say... I challenge anyone to fill this torch without spilling butane EVERYWHERE! There has to be a better way to fill the butane. Perhaps Sondiko could advise on what butane sources would fit this torch or provide better adapters? If the filling of the butane was cleaner I would give this torch 5-stars. But because of the wasted butane, I give this 3-stars.
