Work great!
Every spring we get a ton of ants around all our doors and through the cracks. We’ve had professionals come over the years and have used the indoor traps from this company in the past.Since recently having a dog and a special needs child it always made me uneasy having them inside the house, so was excited to find these for outside the house .These traps have kept the ants outside , I’ve seen maybe only a few in my home since purchasing them.I would set them up in the place you want to keep them in before piercing it open, the bait did spill and I didn’t realize this until after bc it is clear .I would buy again , worked well even though I felt so bad seeing the whole colony working their butts off going back and forth from the trap .

Great way to kill the queen
I use to use an extermination company and one of the guys said to just use this instead. It said the sprays are only temporary. - I am not a big fan of poisons. This works great. It is basically borax, which people use in laundry, and sugar water. After using this, I cancelled the monthly pest control service. This attracts the ants, they eat, take it back to the queen and the nest dies. This is so much safer than the spray poisons. The only issue is it will not get rid of the ants instantly and for a few days, you will actually see an increase in ants.

effective ant control
MY only issue is that the baits are regularly dug up and disabled by racoons...

Quick Results
I am a bit hesitant to write the results so soon, but I put this out two nights ago (five on our wooden deck) and have not seen an ant since!!! I was shocked how quickly it worked!

Very Effective
These bait traps are very effective in getting rid of ants. However, make sure to tape them down, when using them outside. Otherwise, chipmunks love to steal them and feast on the bait

Very effective!
This item really worked, set them outside where I feed the feral cats. Usually have a big issue with ants getting into their food, but the ants were eradicated within days. I am going to use them indoors as well since the smaller indoor Terro traps are messy, the large ones are not as messy. Very pleased with this purchase.

Stakes for Terro Outdoor Ant Killer T1804-6 are STILL NOT INCLUDED as of March 2025
UPDATE of March 27, 2025: So, I ordered this Terro Outdoor Ant Killer product, T1804-6, again on March 26, 2025 AFTER calling Terro customer service just prior to reordering. I was told by a Terro customer service rep that the ant stakes were to come with this outdoor version of Terro Ant Killer. So, I ordered again from Amazon late yesterday. I ordered a box of 12 and a box of 4. The package arrived early this morning in a PLASTIC BAG. Luckily nothing was damaged this time. There were no stakes included in either set of Terro smaller boxes. The package of 12 had 2 holes in each, diagonal from each other, but no plastic stakes. The package of 4 had no holes and no stakes. I called Terro again today and was told the stakes are no longer included. I said that I hope this message is being recorded, as I don't want to have to collect these plastic ant stakes from all over my shrub bed after the wind blows. I also expressed a safety concern for small children and pets (including squirrels, etc.). I was told that my comments of safety concerns would be submitted to the company with a request for the plastic stakes to be included in the future. Will it happen...who knows? I did let Terro know that other customers are not happy that the stakes were discontinued. In conclusion, this product works great if you can get them to stay in place. Covering them with mulch does not seem to suffice. So, now I am seeking plastic stakes that might fit the ones that do have holes in the base of each unit.>>>>>PREVIOUS comments below:Where are the stakes to secure these TERRO ant stakes in place? I've ordered many of these for years, and I've been very pleased with them; HOWEVER, those TERRO ant stakes I ordered last year had NO STAKES...zero stakes. These little round things won't stay placed near my foundation without the stakes. They wind up all around the bed of shrubs and flowers. My point is to secure them and cover them with mulch. Before I spend $25-$50 again, I want to know if the stakes and the holes for the stakes are currently included in March of 2025. Does anyone know if the stakes and the holes for the ant stakes are included once again???AND,The spiral green version of ant stakes don't work well, because they don't go deep enough into the ground, as the stakes are too blunt...AND, the solid dark green spiral stakes do not contain as much liquid.

Work very well!
I have these in the four corners of my yard. I put them up high on the fence to keep them away from my dog. This is the second summer I’ve used them. After a day or so you can see all the ants go towards them. It really helps!
