Loved it
I loved the storyline, the characters, and their very diverse personalities. It definitely started a little dark, the main male character got it together by the end. Funny at times, with the witty banter of all the characters. Can't wait to read the next of this set. Definitely recommend reading this book.

surprisingly good!
This is not a usual story I would go for. I don’t like reading college, sports, or terribly dark romance, but this author kept popping up so I thought I’d try it and well it was good. It wasn’t dark at all. I like taboo and forbidden romance, but can go for a little dark here and there. I was expecting a full on bully romance, like something that I would probably not finish. I know that sounds weird, but i needed to find something different than the typical bwwm book. This was funny, lighthearted, but still different. I have it 4 stars because Kya was very annoying and there were unnecessary black/white tension between the characters that you really got over after chapter 10. But, other than that I’m going to definitely read more from this author.

Scoooorrrrrre!
I just LOVE when Authors sync previous series to new series and yet have a storyline ALL its own.LG Vipers are DEFINITELY a crew to reckon with. Kya and Cole’s chemistry actually smacks you in the emotions in the very first chapter. And keeps you going until the end.Makeba, girllll, you’re next… the teaser is really having me chomping at the bit.I truly anticipating the next installment of VIPERS and the Beauties…Any opinions expressed within this review are solely and uniquely made by me and I am happily leaving this review. A solid fun 3.5 star read, easy!!
This was a cute read! A bit rambling and the ups only lasted a few minutes before the downs started again, like a ping-pong game but other than that? A smütty great time typical of Jamila with laughter thrown in for fun with the real sense of humor our characters had.All in all a good read, not my fav by her but still oh so much better than a lot out there! I need to see what happens next for sure!

pretty good
Ngl I’ve overlooked this book more than a few times but it’s actually really! My bad Jamila, I’ve read most of your books already and wasn’t sure if this one would be my vibe but it’s a good story and left on a good cliffhanger that has me ready to read book 2

My Goodness!
I generally enjoy a lot Jamila's books and while this book had it's hang ups, including some glaring grammatical errors, I still liked it for the most part. The main characters were very entertaining, albeit ignorant and immature. You could see their age and inexperience and immaturity coming through in certain situations. The heroine sometimes got me mildly annoyed with her incessant talk about feminism and being woke, yet certain things that should have been common sense, completely slipped past her. I did really enjoy the banter between Cole and Kya and some of the sweet moments between them, like when Cole was showing her how to skate. I loved Cole's mom and how easily she seemed to accept Kya and all her craziness. In the end, amidst some misunderstandings and best friends who meant well, but needed to work on their execution and follow through better, love won and I'm glad these two got the happy ending they wanted. Can't wait to see what's in store for Kya's equally crazy friends and what the guys they pair up with will be like.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Ok I love this series. As chicana I loved that the FMC isn’t blonde haired and blue eyed. BUT I have questions… it was mentioned that Dustin had a secret at the end… WHATS THE SECRET?’ Also, while I loved Kya, she was also annoying in this book… hypocrite much… but overall loved this series
