long term investment
These assorted drill-bits/screwdrivers were a Christmas present to my daughter with a DeWalt drill- a chippy off the old block. I used DeWalt when I was doing a joinery course years ago and thought this the most useful drill to have with a light and quick charge up time. The whole kit will hopefully last. Seems very functional. Already used. Great present.

Great Quality!
Needed to replace old set which had depleted over the years with bits missing etc. This had more bits and appeared to be of good quality. It hasn't disappointed.I haven't had to use any other bit or drill bit since purchased.A few extra £'s than some of the value sets out there, but worth the money in my opinion.Would definitely recommend

Good range of bits in a durable case
Purchased this when I purchased my new drill. It has a good range of bits and I have made good use of a lot of them already on attending to diy jobs around the home. It has everything I need all in one handy durable case.

Not Ideal For A Novice Driller
At some point in a guy’s life you have to learn how to use a drill and get the equipment to do it.I’ve managed to reach a ripe old age without ever using a drill but in recent times a combination of necessity and more importantly; subtle embarrassment has taken me down the drill ownership path. Many probably build up an armoury of drill bits they need throughout their life by buying one or two at a time when required. I wanted to have everything in a one off purchase so my lack of experience would not lead me driving back and forward to the local hardware store repeatedly saying ‘Nope. Need a different size’. Buying a big pack like this at a reasonable price seemed the more efficient option to me.The case is strong and tidy. The quantity of bits is huge – especially for screws. The quality of the bits I don’t really know as I have no point of comparison. The bits stay snug inside the case.I enthusiastically got to work putting my Ring Door Bell up…..only to find the one bit I needed was not present. A 7mm masonry bit. There is a 5.5mm, a 6mm, a 8mm ….but 7mm.So off I went to the local hardware store saying ‘Nope. Need a different size’.There are heaps of bits and things in the case.Oddly there are less masonry bits than there are wood and metal.I feel like I can cope with most drilling situations with this lot. However there are a few problems with this kit.It comes with loose plastic covers for each half of the case.Your first instinct is to keep them to keep it all new, fresh looking and to add extra unnecessary protection to the tight and robust case. They just get in the way and were binned within 48 hours.Wonder how much they added to the price and damage the environment?More significantly if you are a novice identifying the bits and what they are used for is not indicated.I didn’t know the difference between a masonry and wood bit head. There is an explanation on the cardboard packaging BUT not inside the case. The cardboard packaging will soon be lost. A simple impacted key or label inside the case would be a great asset – much more so than the useless plastic cover I trashed. Some parts in the case I don’t even know what they do or when they should be used. Then we have the missing 7mm masonry bit.I really wasn’t expecting to have to go out and buy one separately and stick it with tape into the case.I also wonder how often in my DIY career I will need to drill into metal. The accessories that I don’t understand will probably never be used.So I suppose if you know what you are doing and can recognise widgets purpose by sight this is a good selection but for a novice I felt it could have been better.

Suspect quality; Is this really DeWalt?
A black box, made in China with no indication made by DeWalt other than the cardboard wrapping - which needs to be removed to open the box.Rachet Driver feels low quality with quite a bit of play.Although everything is in the box and functional, I have my doubts on the quality - certainly not up to the usual quality I expect of DeWalt.Only light usage for now, but fear if I put any of the drills/bits under any strain they will not last (i.e. I have little confidence in the quality).

Excellent set
Bought to be used with my Dewalt cordless drill, and it works perfectly. This set also has a manual ratchet driver as well, which is very useful to have.

Complete set full of useful tools.
This was the perfect combination with my Dewalt drill. Very useful and all the bits that one might needin a clever box.
