Gamechanger!
Yes it's loud - louder than advertised, the Db level given was slightly off for the model that arrived - but they all are, and in a heat wave I won't care. We set it up in a good sized double bedroom and set it to 21 on a day when it was around 28 outside, reaching 31 indoors in south facing rooms. It cooled very well. Walking out of that room felt like getting of a plane on your summer holiday. It makes a very good difference to the room and if you're personally a bit sweaty standing in front of it is a dream. It is wheelable but the weight means you'd probably want to keep it on one floor of your home. The quality is excellent and the controls are great, offering lots of choice. Being able to use your remote or mobile to switch it back on at night is a plus, just be aware your partner is very likely to wake up (think small plane taking off next door) and you need to have discussed aircon behaviour beforehand.I paid £377 and think it was worth every penny. It's gone up since and I'd probably be happy with that too. I thought about buying a second one for the lounge but that feels a little indulgent as we have to think about the space balance (central London home). The window kit was fine, but on old metal windows it does pull the paint off. That's ok for us as we've painted them ourselves and will happily do so again when we move, but if you are thinking you can put the window kit up and down regularly rethink that if you have painted metal windows. The size is what it is. You need a space for it, and one that's well set up to allow the air to circulate, but it's no bigger footprint than say a large hoover.Overall I think it's an excellent purchase and even having had one minor week of heat it's paid for itself in comfort. When the usual big summer week of 30+ degrees weather hits I'll be the smuggest I've ever been.

Game changer. Low review are clueless on how to install it.
Anyone giving this less than 4 stars has no clue on how to properly install the exhaust or is trying to cool a whole warehouse...When the condenser is on, it's very noisy but bearable, otherwise as noisy as a regular electrical fan. This is an absolute game changer - my office is 4 bricks walls, 3 of which are exposed to the sun all day, and it gets as hot as 45 degrees when the outside is around 30. This AC has gotten that all the way to a crisp 26-27 when running continuously (10m² room), otherwise when it's not peak heatwave I can easily keep around 20 degrees by using the AC every now and then throughout the day.Best money spent by far

Pro Breeze 4-in-1 Portable AC: Functional Cooling with Notable Efficiency & Durability Trade-offs
The Pro Breeze 4-in-1 Portable Air Conditioner offers a versatile and generally user-friendly solution for climate control. A key advantage is its easy installation process, allowing for straightforward setup. When in operation, the unit typically provides sufficient cooling for a room, effectively reducing the temperature to a more comfortable level. Beyond cooling, it also includes a dehumidifying function and a fan-only mode, adding to its utility. Its design ensures it is easy to move and position wherever needed, offering good flexibility. It comes with a solid fitting for sliding windows and a nylon sheet for fitting to a hinged window (this is what I used for a while)However, there are several aspects to consider that impact its overall performance and value. A significant point of inefficiency stems from its single-hose design. This means the unit draws air from the very room it's trying to cool to ventilate its compressor, which is then expelled outside. This process is highly inefficient and quite wasteful, as it pulls already cooled air out of the room, requiring the unit to work harder. It's important to note, however, that finding dual-hose designs, which are more efficient, is almost impossible in the UK market.Furthermore, while the unit cools, the built-in fan's power is somewhat limited, meaning it struggles to project the cooled air much further than a meter from its opening. For window ventilation, the included nylon window kit works adequately for hinged windows, but for optimal efficiency and a truly sealed environment, you might find yourself needing to engineer a more robust, custom-sealed cover. The unit is also notably noisy during operation, though it is worth mentioning that it may be less so compared to some other portable AC units on the market. A considerable drawback is the ventilation hose that accompanies the unit, which is prone to breaking and splitting very easily at the seams, potentially impacting the unit's long-term durability. Finally, from a cost perspective, this unit was quite expensive at the time of purchase, reflecting a period when AC units were less common. Nowadays, equivalent models can often be acquired for significantly less, sometimes as low as £200.

Great
A worthwhile investment for the summer months. I read loads of other reviews and yes it is a little bit noisy but so are all air con machines. This one isn’t that noisy at all. It blows out lovely cold air which is a godsend in the hot days. You can get slightly cheaper machines but you get what you pay for. I’m really pleased with this purchase 👍

Didn't cool the room
I bought the 7000 BTU unit for a small, 2-person office. Why did you choose this product over others?:First up, the reviews were great and the company specialises in cooling products in the UK, so I was confident that I made the right choice. The unit arrived packaged well, so the box could be lifted off, without lifting the unit out. Assembly was quick and easy.Efficiency:The weather was 24⁰C and therefore a few degrees warmer inside. We had the unit running for over 2hrs on 16⁰C but unfortunately it did nothing to cool the room down. It did generate coolish air that felt pleasant if you were sitting directly in its field - but no cooling effect in the room. This was disappointing because the reviews showed people had a great cooling experience. At best, it's like a fan blowing air that is cooler than a standard fan. As comparison, the AC in my 9 year old car is more powerful. Unfortunately, we didn't retain the packaging, otherwise I would have returned it... but am now lumbered with an expensive mistake!
