These D-mannose capsules are easy to take, there's no noticeable flavour and at £9.99 for a month's supply are very well-priced compared to similar products, and certainly makes it a lot more worthwhile trying without spending too much.

This is a straightforward pack of 60 D Mannose capsules in a vegan shell. Nothing added so they couldn't be smaller.D Mannose is reputed to be a prebiotic as well as good for UTI prevention and treatment, although for treatment, very large, 3 hourly doses are needed, as early as possible. Best to check what is effective.So 60 capsules isn't a huge amount and these are not cheap but compares well price-wise to other pharmacy UTI treatments aids which are basically the same as baking soda with flavouring.Will be keeping this for the dog in case she gets a UTI but expiry date is one year so limited shelf-life. May re-store in a sealed glass or plastic bottle to try to increase shelf life.

The wife needed some of this for treatment plans she was pursuing, and reported positive impact from taking it. The capsules appear uniformly filled and there was no loose powder in the pouch.

I have been using d-mannose for several years to good effect. This brand is new to me but seem to have the same benefits and although bigger are easy enough to swallow. I like the fact they are in capsule format and the flat packaging makes them easy to store and easier for the postie to get through the letterbox. The taste and smell of the capsules is not unpleasant. Prices for d-mannose varies, these seem reasonably priced.

I've been taking these tablets for a while from various brands. These arrived fast, are well priced, and easy to swallow with a glass of water, exactly what I need.

* It isn't always easy to assess the effectiveness of a supplement that may potentially prevent something happening, because you can't categorically say whether you would have avoided the issue in any case.* That said, there is some pretty robust evidence in the public domain to suggest that D-Mannose does help to prevent the build-up of bacteria in the bladder that can lead to UTIs. (Though it should be noted that there is no firm evidence that it helps to clear a UTI after it has already developed).* The provenance and quality is good and it is well packaged with clear information.* The capsules are not excessively large and shouldn't cause problems for anyone without swallowing difficulties.* The recommended daily intake is 2 capsules per day. Research I have seen suggests that you need 2g per day of D-Mannose to be effective at preventing UTIs, which would actually equate to needing 4 of these capsules per day.* At the current cost of £11.99 for 60 tablets (a 15 day supply if you were to take 4 per day) that works out at a daily cost of about 80p, which is more expensive than other good alternatives I have reviewed previously. (A good product under the Nutrivity brand worked out at only 28p per day, for example.)So, in summary, this is a good product, but not the best value I have come across.I hope you find these comments helpful.

Tablets are a bit big to swallow but can be opened and put in tea or on food. Great value for money

not much use. It probably depends on what type of infection they are used for. Would not buy.
