Lots of power, not expensive
There's nothing wrong with this speed controller. Low cost, high power rating, simple to use and reliable. I've used the 60 amp and 80 amp "RC Electric Parts" speed controllers for a couple years now. They have never given me any trouble. They stay cool and deliver smooth, linear power. They are simple to set up and install. The default setup parameters are right for 90% of the RC plane applications used. For those who need "soft-start" high timing, or breaking, you can program from the transmitter or by a separate programming board. What's not to like.

High quality, compact ESCs!
All of my LESU 1/14 scale hydraulic earthmovers came with these no-name blue labeled ESCs for the track motors. They have no configuration or calibration options. The motors were jittery at slow speed, and one of the ESCs when up in smoke the day I got the DT60 dozer. I replaced all my track motor ESCs with these 30A Defiant ESCs. Wow, what a difference. The motors run buttery smooth at slow speeds, and these are half the physical size of the ones I removed. Worth every penny. The seller also has manuals and videos online to show you how to set it up. A+ !

Low BEC Voltage
I’ve used the 60A version for two years. It performed well with light duty. However, I now use receivers with telemetry and have discovered that the actual BEC voltage is dangerously low. 5.5V is claimed but the BEC only delivers 4.5V and that drops to 4.3V with servo movement.

Great service.
I am using two of these ESCs. They are very easy to use and are basically plug them in and they are ready to go. I did have a problem with one of the ESCs. I contacted the gentleman about my problem and he took care of things in a very timely manner. I received a replacement ESC within two days. I highly recommend this product.
