O-Cedar Telescopic Replacement Handle (Extends from 32" to 56")

I know this isn’t made for the spin mop...BUT...it WILL work! It’s not the correct fitting, but it screws in enough to catch the threads and hold the grip! The spin mop has more of a cone shaped fitting and this is a cylinder, so towards the top of the threading on the mop head, it doesn’t catch the threads. We love it because our original broke and we couldn’t find the replacement pole only for a spin mop, so we gave this a shot and the handle length is way longer which is great because my fiancé is 6’5” tall and this extends a ton more than the original!

I was searching for a replacement handle after the original handle on my O'Cedar spin mop broke. I was nervous about ordering this because of the mixed reviews and some said it would work with spin mop & some said it wouldn't.Well I'm glad I took a chance and ordered this handle because it absolutely does work with my spin mop! Now, it's not exactly like the original, it's shaped and sized a little differently but it does fit and stays screwed into the mop head. The extra length is an added bonus because I use my spin mop to wash my outside windows so it will be a little easier with this handle.

I like this handle better than the original handle that came with my OCedar spin mop system. It’s a bit more heavy duty and a little bit longer

My first one broke within a month of getting it. The one that came with the mop kit. So I taped it and used it for over a year. It finally bit the dust.So I had to buy a new one. This one is longer than the original if you want it to be. Which is sooooo much better for getting under tables or couches. I don’t have anything negative to say about it. Easy to use. Easy to clean and easy to work with. Great replacement handle for your ocedar spin mop or any other mop heads with the same shape.

Love the 56inch length! Easy to ipen. Fits my OCedar spin mop PERFECTLY! With a new mop head I now have my dream mop back!

Needed a replacement when my mop handle disappeared. So glad I found this so I didn't have to buy a whole new bucket set as I had already done that once. Perfect fit. Thank you very much.

I received this item and was pleased to see that it was actually longer than the original pole that came with the mop when I bought it from the store. It looks also to be more sturdy and stronger than the old one and it has been working well so far. At $13 this is a much better value than having to buy a whole new mop setup.

I ordered this handle because my current mop handle was a bit too short and was causing my back to hurt. I should have measured my current mop handle and compared to this one I was thinking of purchasing. This ended up only being about a foot longer. While it seems to be a better length then the previous one, I thought it would end up being longer. Measuring before is important, who knew? 😉 So. More information. This handle is telescopic? But when it is extended and you apply pressure to mop, the handle collapses. I tried everything to get it to stay open better, but nothing helps. So if you are mopping and put any type of slightest bit of pressure on the handle, it just falls out of the notch. I call it a notch, but it's really not there.I know there are shower curtain rods that are extendable and you twist them and they get really tight where you need them to be. This seems to be the same type of extension mechanism. But you can twist this all day long and it never gets tighter. I really did try everything to make this stay in the extended length to but it just won't stay. So I looked around, I had a brainstorm, and found some black duct tape that I had and I took about a 6 inch length of the duct tape and wrapped around the joint there where the extension is. It seems to have held it well and is functioning really well for me. I hope that this review helps people be able to make the purchase they're thinking they're making. Even if they decide to go ahead and get it and just do the duct tape procedure I did.

The mop is nice and functional. However barely 2 months in the paint is peeling from the mop, revealing the metal shell.
