Works great-Looks great!
I’m so pleased with this wooden clock. It works better than expected, so that’s always a plus. The 2-tone wood goes perfectly in my home, and it’s simple to use. I also think the cost is very fair.

Good Clock, but Low Dimmer Light
I am giving the clock 4 stars because the dimmer light is not bright (the back light from the snooze button is bright but is on for only 5 seconds). I was in the process of returning when I discovered the perfect spot so I will keep the clock. If the low dimmer is OK, buy the clock.

Don't buy!
I received this item in good condition unfortunately, the box was disposed of, before I truly tested it out. DON'T BUY!! The light sensor does not work and this was one of the reasons I bought it! I can't set the date, because the buttons I'm supposed to press, aren't even there!! Worst product I've ever bought on Amazon!! I'm just thankful it wasn't to expensive! Lesson learned, don't throw out your original packaging until you've totally tested the product! I know better, so more mad at myself! My pics of it not illuminating, won't come out because of my camera settings, I'm guessing.

Very decent clocks
I now have three of these. I replaced all my wall clocks (which weren't keeping time very well). I like that there are a couple different light settings. They were easy to program. Very good value as far as I'm concerned. Love the large numbers and the wood casing. Seem to keep time very well.I am not using these as alarm clocks, so I can't say much about the volume or alarm sound.

Looks great, performs well… terrible alarm sound though.
For the price it’s a nice little piece. Warm feel with the soft, unfinished real wood tones. The “self-dim sensor” actually works really well making it visible but not oppressively bright in the night. Its construction feels a little under engineered and if it slips from your hand a few inches to the nightstand it’ll sound its alarm in protest and reset every feature to ensure you never do *that* again.About as simple a digital interface as can be. One alarm. On, off, snooze. No Bluetooth, USB, etc. Speaker for alarm could have come from a cereal box toy.Speaking of speakers… The default alarm sound is a throwback to the 80’s beep beep beep… BEEP BEEP! BEEP!!! The snooze is only 5 minutes, so if you leave the room to grab a cup of coffee and aren’t back in time it’ll escalate intensity to the point anyone in the house will be awake, and not happy about it...While I’m still using it, I gave it 3 starts because overall it’s not a great alarm solution for the average person and with its lack of other features there’s not much to redeem it.I use this just to supplement my Apple Watch that sometimes isn’t loud enough to wake me. If I were using this as a primary alarm I’d spend a bit more and get an alarm with sound options and a bit heartier construction.

Perfect match for a rustic decor.
Clock has a nice look, and although another post said it was plastic, I believe the front bezel and sides are wood. Back is plastic. I wanted this for use in a rustic bathroom and it fits in great. I made a small shelf so that it sits at eye level and is very clear and readable. One thing to keep in mind, as you move the clock above or below eye level, the display washes out fairly quickly, especially when viewed from a close distance. The further you move away from it, the wider the usable field of view becomes. That could be an issue if it were placed on a tall dresser close to your bed. Contrary to a few other posts, I found setting time, date and temp functions straight forward - I never looked at the instructions until afterwards, and that may be the source of confusion for some that found function setting confusing. They appear to have been written in that wonky English translation dialect. The buttons on the back pretty much indicate what does what. Didn't bother to set alarm or test that feature as it is a bathroom clock. The light sensor works as it should - display in the dark is not overly bright but does act as a nightlight. Pressing the snooze button does increase display brightness significantly but the normal backlighting seems adequate, and can be disabled if desired. Like it, and hope it last a long time
