Heavy duty machine, does a great job splitting wires. Fairly simple to setup and use. Fairly priced.

Works amazing!! Very fast and reliable so far. I have already stripped a 1000 lbs of wire with it.

So the main reason I got this tripper was the strip 500 MCM and 350 MCM and it worked fantastic. I also had a bunch of small rolls of number 12 stranded and I set them up on a ladder with a piece of half-inch conduit going through and it ate the whole roll. Split it on the first time I definitely suggest that you backed the blade tensioners all the way out and run a small pieces through to get your stripping debt right and that’ll keep the blade sharp as well as not as much wear and tear on your gearbox. Also, it comes with oil and it comes with grease on there but two preventative maintenance tips I got depending on how much you’re using it to look to make sure checking for grease and oil before you use.

I purchased this in hopes to speed up my scrap piles. I can give you the pros and cons break down: Cons -heavy and cumbersome ( permanent mounting on the shop table suggested -you WILL spend a lot of time dialing the cutter blades in -NOT friendly with smaller diameter wire 12 gauge and up - you will spend timing cleaning the catch belly from dirty wire -it doesnt like harder jacketed wire ( multiple passes ) - this unit WILL pull anything into it, be VERY careful of feed wire tangles and kinks! The springs jump and catch again quickly! Pros: -extremely well made, quiet and easily serviceable - makes short, short work of 0/2”+ wire ( soft jacketed) - easily adjustable cutter plate -great overall design In all- I still would highly recommend the “strip meister” drill powered wire stripper. I am happy with this unit, maybe I need more run time?

Works vary well on bigger wires. Is a must have if you have any amount of copper scrap.makes quick work out of stripping.

This wire stripping machine is great on 15KV cable as well as 600V insulation. Only fault is packaging and shipping. WOODEN crate was so beaten up we were going to return as we thought machine was actually bent, THANKFULLY it was not. It does say in the crate that it comes with a blade sharpening wheel and it does NOT come in the box nor mentioned in the add. This will pay for itself in one or two days even paying for the labor to operate it. Don't buy any other machine this has the best design and much more universal for all sizes.
