It did make the hair dull and dry after
Use gloves for yourself. I rinsed it off immediately but it still irritated my skin. Keeping your pet still for so many mins without shaking it all over was hard too. It did make the hair dull and dry after, didn't stop much itching. I switched their food again to no grain and started using the salmon oil on it, within days 75% of the itching stopped for both dogs.
