Something a little different
I struggled to find a post box capable of taking small packages and which didn't look like a plain box. This one ticks most of the, er, boxes, and for the money, it's a surprisingly nice thing. The paint scheme in particular helps it stand out, as does its unique shape - within a few hours of putting ours up we had already had numerous compliments about it.The box is wide enough to take small packages, and the lid opens a fair bit to allow this. It doesn't open as much when fixed to a wall, but still plenty enough. The lid has a tendency to scrape against the box when it's closed, so I added a thin strip of sticky padding to stop it marking.On the downside, the box is made of fairly thin sheet metal and flexes quite a bit when pressed; I could be wrong but I don't think we'll still have it in 10 years' time. There's also only two wall fixing screw holes, at the top, so the bottom of the box moves a bit. The lack of a locking lid might be a problem for some, but the fixing method means that pulling it off a wall would be fairly simple for a thief anyway.

Looks Smart in black on black iron gate
Looks fab - easy to use - assembled to my mums gate with two black cable ties. V easy. No lock but that’s what we wanted as mum would have lost the keys anyway !

Ok but not great quality
Not great quality only one screw and the black paint all scraped off where the lid closes upon opening the parcel, had to spray paint black to cover it, doesn't feel very sturdy lots of bits where the black paint was missing and you can see the metal particularly around joins. For £30 it's ok but not great don't think it will last that long tbh

Looks nice but fills with water
Post box is a good size and style but fills with water. I have sealed the screw area with silicone, I thought this is where it was coming from as doesn’t sit perfectly flat but still filling up so I guess it’s from the lid. If it’s in a cover porch or sheltered area would be ok but not on the outside of a building.

Looks great and also able to hold parcels
I had just had a new front door fitted and we decided to not have a letterbox as it would spoil the look.I chose this design as I wanted something that would be able to take small parcels as well as letters. I wasn’t worried about security, (we have a ring doorbell camera) so a lockable one was not an issue.It was very easy to install and looks great next to our red front door.
