Buy a Marshalltown
This trowel is garbage. I bought it simply because I fancied a change from the Marshalltown I've been using for 20+ years. It really is cheap nasty crap, I put it in my toolbag on Friday unused and by Monday rust was appearing, the rubber stopper on the handle is in ruins after a week, whereas a MT will last the life of the trowel. Breaking a brick makes a loud ringing noise akin to a school lunch bell. It's flimsy and will not last. The 'leather wrap ' handle is neither leather or wrapped, it's like a bit of stuck on laminate patern exactly the same feel as the rest of the handle. The handle offers no grip, I resorted to scratching it on blocks to try and get some grip. Awful. Really, really awful.

he is very happy with it and said it was the best trowel ...
Ordered this trowel for my husband who has been a bricklayer for twenty one years, he is very happy with it and said it was the best trowel he has ever had!! will definitely order one in the future.

Great quality trowel with some flaws.
The actual trowel bit is very well made and has a nice sharp edge perfect for slicing bricks accurately and the handle is very posh looking even though it lacks grip that rubber handles have. The one main thing that lets this trowel down is the butt on the end of the trowel; it is very cheap plastic and the screw that holds it in does little to hold it in.Mine fell out after 2 days use.

Great lift
Nice lift good balance ,excellent gauge of steel started on these trowels {WHS/TYZACK}way back in the seventies, then within 2 to three years it was all Marshaltown with only the old boys using these trowels and the WHS Canadian pattern was creme de la creme in those days so this brings back memories auf wiedersehen pet wouldn't have got a look in Belfast,London,Germany and Holland, cash, beer and great craic

Terrible trowel
Blade is thin and flimsy, incredibly tinny when hitting a brick. Blade bends even with trowel of muck on it. I lay bricks and blocks everyday and this trowel is simply not up to the job. Save your money and put it towards a marshalltown trowel.
