My problem with most rain outerlayers is that they make you sweaty and sticky, this one is perfect. Enough to keep you dry, but not so suffocating that you're covered in more swear than you would be rain. I can't imagine having to buy it again, but if I ever did, I would.

Learned about this jacket from wirecutter and it exceeded my expectations. Fit and material is great, and above all it keeps you dry even in heavy rain. What I hadn't realized is the styling works just as well in an "urban setting" as it does on a sail boat or trail; it's truly an all-purpose rain jacket.

Couldn't be happier with the quality of this jacket. My son wore it on a boat cruise into Niagara Falls (the Horn Blower Cruise). It repels water very well and is lightweight. Washed well, too; let it air dry.

As soon as I put this on, it felt sturdy but very soft! Much more comfortable rain coat than the Mountain Hardware Gear one I have been wearing the last couple years. Doesn’t have that annoying crinkle sound and feels so smooth. I am a deckhand on a tour boat in the UP of Michigan and needed something to battle rough weather. I’m 5’5” and 160lbs, and the mens L fits great! HH for the win!

This jacket has lived up to its hype and more, fits perfect it is long so water drips off me not onto my pants. I am buying one for my wife.

Jacket was well made but I couldn’t get past the over sized logo. In my opinion it cheapened the product. It also ran slightly small.
