Fibropool Swimming Pool Diverter Valve - 1 1/2 Inch Female Threaded - 3 Way - Replacement Valve for Pools and Spas

The FIBROPOOL branded valves and products are much higher quality than the copies. FIBROPOOL has valve threads that go all the way out to the opening of the neck. Other brands I have bought on Amazon do not. Other brands threads were loose and did not extend all the way out to the opening, so on some fittings only 3 threads would engage and not tight enough to seal. Also one of the other brand valves came with a crack in it. I would only buy the FIBROPOOL brand after this experience.

I wasn't sure how this works. Basically you push in the handle and turn the valve to where you need it to go. The "flat" part of the valve that faces the opposite side of your grasp (in the product picture the flat side is on the bottom left) is the side that closes off whatever it's facing. In the product picture, it is facing no opening and all ports are opened.

The valve works as expected, no issues.I got the valve and then stared at it for a while thinking how I am going to mount it. It's so awkward. If you have everything hard-piped then it's a non-issue, but I did everything with flexible hose and I don't want it just laying on the ground. So I designed and 3d printed a mount for it and it works just fine. You can find the model on the printables website, just search for fibropool diverted valve.

This is holding up pretty good, its working as it should, no problem with changing flows.

Best diverter on the market at this price.Why pay more!? It would be silly. I was skeptical at first because it's almost half the price of others. Well sometimes cheaper doesn't mean cheap. Solid product, I use two of them on my 18x32 pool to control water flow ,fountains and jets. They work flawless at very high pressure, I have a two speed pump and I can shoot a 3/4-1" stream of water across my pools 32' span and into neighbors yard and these bad boys are up to the task,easy to change flow even at high pressure and gpm.also locking features in case running even more psi.If skeptical don't be

I am using this to divert where my sump line goes. It's always been difficult to turn and today when i went to turn it the handle busted off. I am trying to turn when there is no water or pressure so shouldn't be that hard and yes i am pressing down so it's not locked. I did order a new one so i can replace the guts and not have to install a whole new valve. Hoping these new guts will turn a little smoother. I don't have to turn it too often so i will give it another shot but if i had to change the direction often however i would look for a different unit.

Upon receipt the valve was very stiff and difficult to turn. I had to disable, generously lubricate, and reassemble.After that, everything worked well.
