EAG Matrix Trail Tubular Door with Side View Mirror Fit for 07-18 Wrangler JK 4 Door Only

Background: I got these about a week ago and have installed (and removed) them once. I have a 2012 4 Door Rubicon. These were exactly what I thought they'd be- great looking, fun, affordable, and (fairly) easy to install. I would say installation took about 2.5 hours, though for me at least, the majority of that was getting my factory doors off (all 4 were stuck pretty bad), and some one-time assembly tasks. This was exacerbated by the fact that the instructions seem to be missing a few important details which I'll get to later. Once installed, they look great and at least in my case, with a tip that I saw in these reviews, there was no rattle whatsoever. TIPS: I saw similar tips in other reviews so I'll repeat the ones that ended up helping me. First, there are two different length bolts. The longer ones go on the bottom. Why? Because they also pass through the plate that has the door-swing-limiting straps... I don't think this was called out in the instructions. In fact, I don't think the instructions mentioned the strap assemblies at all, but I noticed they were there... Second, there's a small rubber shock absorber that goes between the mirror and the door. In my case, that had fallen off of one of the mirrors so I installed without it, then I noticed and had to re-install. Third, with regard to rattling, the suggestion to use some furniture-slide felt wrapped around the door frame latch bar where the door latches on worked wonders... thanks to whoever suggested that. I found some felt with a sticky backing and just wrapped a piece on all four door frame latch bars and voila, no rattling or play in the doors. I put the factory doors back on this morning bc of some bad weather coming in and it was a breeze this time around... In short, great purchase, very happy w/it, and thanks to the Amazon reviewers who helped me solve some of the issues w/their experience.

Very happy with these doors. They are sturdy and a good fit and look great. Rated install a 4 star because the instructions are lacking, but the product is a good buy. My seller rating..not so much

Assembling the doors was super easy, putting them on the Jeep.. different story. 3 doors lined up well, but could never angle the door and latch on the driver door to get rid of the rattle. I just wrapped the door jam with some electrical tape, and that removed the rattle. The rear driver side door was a fun one too. The bolts in the back of the door latch were too long to get past the door jam. I had to remove the lock washers in order for the latch to even make contact with the Jam. Overall, love the look. The mirrors are better than factory, imo. Passenger side mirror is a little limited on how far it can push out.

These doors, for the price, are absolutely fantastic. They're heavy duty enough to run on the trail or freeway (at 80 mph), have minimal rattle, and look ridiculously cool. The door latch assembly is stout and secure, and the mirrors also hold up to the driving test. I installed all four doors in just under two hours, including removal of my regular doors, following the thorough instructions to a tee. About a week ago, I also knocked the mirror face out of the mirror assembly when I shut the door too hard, and a customer service rep was quick to ship out a new one for me, so thumbs up for their post-purchase support as well. I would recommend these doors to anyone in a heartbeat. PS: if you do experience a rattle after installing the doors, simply stick a small piece of felt furniture pad inside the front bar of the JK's lock (where the door will latch onto it) and wrap a small amount of electrical tape around that bar to hold it in place. This eliminated all rattle for me (it really wasn't bothersome to begin with) and took about 5 minutes, and did not interfere with the factory doors closing.

These doors were sold out for two months and I patiently waited for them to be available, and once they were I jumped... I'm glad I did! Great value!!! I had already done textured black on my hinges and rock rails so these look great with those. Come as pictured. As others have said the directions leave a bit to be desired (mine didn't mention the door straps at all) but they're easy enough with a little trial and error. Just be aware there are shorter straps for the front doors vs the rear doors, and the latches will take some adjusting... the good thing is they ARE adjustable so after a few tweaks got em nice and tight with no rattles. Definitely recommended!

Great price, easy to install. I put them on when driving with our dogs. When my son takes the Jeep out, he pops them off. I also like that they came with side mirrors attached to the doors. *side mirrors were a huge bonus on the doirs* Easy to use and they look great.

Love the doors and the look they give my Jeep. The instructions leave a bit to be desired for the installation, so make sure you allow extra time to take some things apart to assemble them as you learn new things. I ended up having a manufacturing defect in one of the hinge bolts that caused a failure, but the seller was great about getting me some extra hinges.
