I think this is a very attractive clock, just like the photo, and the size stated (12 inches across the entire clock (face is a little bit smaller because there is a frame)). It is silent. In my bedroom and I don’t hear a sound. Others reported the clock did not keep accurate time when vertical, so I leaned mine vertically against the wall for two weeks before hanging to check. Time was perfect (so I hung it!). Second hand is nice to have. I highly recommend it.

IUPDATE 2022 (almost 2023!): Clock still keeps time great. Have only had to change the batteries 1x, dont use special batteries (see below)It doesnt make any noise at all, even if you put your ear up to it and try to hear something. Does not look expensive but does NOT look cheap. Fits right into the average household. Feels of decent quality with the metal case and glass front. The glass is nice and clear as well. Am using alkaline batteries and it has not lost or gained any time except when I had to set it back for time change of course. I recommend it. Good clock for the price

I received the clock quickly and in good condition. It is a very pretty clock and will be a nice addition to my kitchen. It is just the right size to be viewable from across the room. I like the sweeping second hand and, so far, the clock keeps good time.

For the price, I cannot beat this clock. It runs smoothly, quietly and is accurate. The second hand is a nice touch. I like that the frame is metal vs plastic. It goes well with the colors in my kitchen. When I saw this clock I knew I had found what I wanted. Very attractive face on this clock. I am using an alkaline AA battery. By the way, I use rechargeable batteries in all my electronic candles but it is not advised to use them in a clock! Thank You!

This clock is very nice. It is easy to read, accurate and totally quiet. It has been up for weeks and the time is spot on. The suggestion to use carbon zinc batteries is kind of a pain, mainly because they are hard to find. Everything for the most part out there is alkaline. Carbon zinc batteries are cheap to buy on Amazon so I bought a pack. The clock runs perfectly with them. If you can find batteries in dollar stores that don't say alkaline, they are most probably carbon zinc. The only advertising that is a little misleading is HD glass. I believe it is HD Plastic but it doesn't matter at all because the lens is crystal clear. Over all a very nice looking clock.

This clock is really pretty! I am so pleased with the quality and detail of the clock. If I had one complaint, it is that it was really hard to get the battery in. The battery compartment seemed like it was too small to accommodate the battery, but with determination, I was finally able to get it in. Other than that, I am really hopeful that this clock lasts me a long time, because I love it!

Attractive, clearly visible, accurate, and perfect size. Highly recommend.

12 inches only. and the face is a bit darker than I wanted so it's not as easy to read as my old one.
