Speedo Speed Socket 2.0 Swim Goggle

Seriously the best fitting goggles! Perfect for the competitive swimmer who wants to step up their game. They keep the sun out of your eyes and the color is perfect. They don’t leak and work well during swim practice. These are going to last!

These goggles fit well, are pretty comfortable, and don't let in any water. The anti-fog lenses seem to work pretty well. I swim primarily indoors but have also done some open water swimming outdoors and haven't had any issues with foggy lenses yet. My only issue is, if daylight is dim, the smoked lenses may make visibility difficult, especially when open water swimming in the deep water and low light conditions. I don't have any issues in an indoor pool where it's well lit and using these at the beach on a sunny day is fine too. There was just one time I used them at a lake and it was nearing dusk. Once I got deep enough, it was pretty hard to see anything underwater but I guess that's expected when you get into deep water

I previously wore the original Vanquisher for many years. The sizing and fitment of this is quite a bit different. First of all, the nose piece is in the shape of a V. I feel this grabs the eye pieces together and digs into my nose. I've tried the nose piece already attached and the one larger. Secondly, if you have a larger head, the straps aren't long enough. I have them all the way to the ends of the straps and they are still too tight. Otherwise they seal fine and offer good visibility. But they are just not comfortable for me. And by the way, my wife tried them on and found that they dug into her nose too. Edit: After 6-7 times, the digging in on my nose is less so the nose piece probably has broken in a little. I still will not be buying these again. YMMV

Unas gafas bastante resistentes, las tengo hace unos 4 años, voy a nadar dos o tres veces por semana y están en perfectas condiciones. Muy recomendadas

Work perfect. Maybe to perfect? They are so tight that they leave marks on the skin, but go away within hours. Very effective at keeping water out of the eyes.

I haven't worn goggles since I was a kid so I didn't think they would be comfortable but I was wrong! These are very comfortable and even when loosened up all the way, they don't leak. Having them lose is nice because they don't leave any marks on your face too! I also tried the Speedo Hydro Comfort and Speedo Hydrospex Classic but the Speed Socket 2.0 clearly wins. They are the most comfortable, offer the clearest view, feel well made, and are made in Japan. They Hydro is made in Thailand and the Hydrospex is made in Vietnam. With the Hydrospex, I feel like the bridge or the strap will eventually break.

This is the most painful pair of goggles I have ever owned. I've experimented with all three of the nose pieces, and the goggles never feel like they fit well. Because they are "low profile," there is very little cushion around the seal, and since they don't seal well due to the poor fit, I have to mash them into my face to create enough suction to prevent leaks. One mile later, I invariably have bruises around my eyes, so the morning after every swim, people ask me if I got into a fight. Don't buy these.
