This is very nice, but please know that Dior Sauvage Elixir is completely different from the mmore popular Dior Sauvage EDP or EDT. If you are aware of this difference and still want an Elixir type of fragrance, only then go for this. The fragrance will remind you of a fresh burst burst of bergamot, spices, vanilla, creamy amber and grapefruit. When it dries down you'll get a bit of patchouli, liquorice and vetiver. There are some very subtle leathery notes that could be mistaken for a smoky note. It opens quite strong and projects really well for the first 30 minutes. After that it tones down to a skin scent that lasts for about half a day indoors. The sprayer and the bottle are very well made. I definitely think that I got way more value than what I've paid for it. The scent is very masculine and is suitable for office wear or outings. I have also tried the other perfumes in the Code range and I thought Acqua (Blue) has the best fragrance, followed by Pyro (Grey) for the strongest performance, and lastly Terra (Orange) because it has a very polarizing aroma. The entire range is heavily inspired from more expensive perfumes. Acqua is really close to Blue De Channel EDP, Pyro is a nice interpretation of Sauvage Elixir EDP and Terra is almost identical to Terre D'Hermes.

I've been using this perfume for around 2 months and I can say that it's worth the price. The opening is spicy yet fresh(spicy because of the pepper used in it) after like 45 minutes the middle note starts. The middle note is very sophisticated and has the leather feeling. In the base note it just smells like a vanila candy but also gives a warm tone! The base note is actually crazy good in my opinion! The perfume is long lasting. It lasts about 9-10 hours indoor on skin! And maybe like a whole day on clothes! Projection is average and projects for around 1.5 hours. The opening might be harsh but the settle down scent is actually quite good! This is a winter perfume so don't apply it in the summer time! It's a great option for events and special occassions in this price range.
