Nice Scale!
My first Eufy P3 worked great! Until it didn't. For some reason one day to the next it said i lost 30 pounds of muscle and gained 10 pounds of fat. I don't think that is humanly possible. After a week of bad results i contact Eufy by chat. The first person i reached said some weight fluctuations are normal, yes true but not by 30 pounds!! That person wanted photos so i mentioned if i get out of this chat i will lose you. They said to just request them when i get reconnected to chat. Im thinking here we go!! Im going to get the good old run around! I got back on the chat and reached someone else. I told them what the previous person said. They told me to hold on a moment while they reconnected me to that other person. Luckily that first person was not available because the new person i was chatting with was amazing! He noticed right away that the scale was bad and said he was going to ship me out a new one and i would have to return the old one so they can run some tests on it. Great! Thank you so much!!!! I was busy at work and didn't have time to return the scale right away so i was a little disappoint not to have my smart scale to weigh myself everyday. I know it sounds crazy to weigh myself everyday but i workout hard everyday and like to see what kind of results my hard working is getting me. 3 days later theres a package at my door and it was my new Eufy scale!!! I ripped it open like a kid at Xmas! I set it up and stepped on it and back in business!! Results were accurate again!! I did ship the back the bad scale but it took me maybe two weeks to find the time to get to the US post office. Sorry for the delay Eufy but thanks again! Now the issue i have with these smart scales. Im 48 years old and in better shape then most guys half my age but this scale says I have the body of an Obese 51 year old LoL, I recently bought a 56 metric scale (different brand) that says that I have a body of an Obese 56 year old. That scale I'm in the process of returning because it works when it wants too! Problem with these scales are BMI. If you are a larger person with a lot of muscle it doesn't care, body fat or muscle it only knows weight vs height. Example Im 5’ 11” 285 pounds on the more muscular side. I work out just about everyday. According to this scale and all other smart scales I am Obese. So if the smart scale is making all its calculations off of BMI then you will not be getting an accurate reading and the scale might actually discourage someone from working out instead assist. My wife hates these scales because of it. I tell her not to take the measurements to heart and use it as a tool to help track any improvements. I will keep shopping around for another 56 metric scale. Eufy if you are in the process of developing a 56 metric scale Im in the market for one!!!I was going to give the Eufy P3 scale 4 stars but their great customer service earned them an additional star!

Might be the best scale under $200
What's important is that this scale is consistent with weight measurements. It's also pretty accurate in weight. I measured a 25lb weight and it measured 24.9lbs. While I don't know how accurate the other health metrics are like fat % and muscle mass, I'm hoping they are consistent as I don't expect them to be very accurate as compared to a DEXA scan. I may do that as I think I get free yearly dexa scans so I can update on how accurate it is if I do that.Everything worked flawlessly out of the box including the sync with the app. The app is easy to use and specific to the scale and not an all-in-one app where other scales include their metrics with their companies app which supports smart homes and stuff like that. Simple, easy to use and it works.

Great scale - works great - with one exception...
Ok so - let's start with a hilarious story (lol). Let me preface this by saying, I promise I'm not making fun of myself or anything like that - the way this turned out, however, was too good not to include in this review.I've been on a fitness journey for a long time and I was made aware of this scale by my Eufy app that I use with my robot vacuum/mop. They were offering me a deal on the previous generation scale through the app, I was taken to their store to buy it, saw this one instead, loved this one more, and ended up buying this one on Amazon. The scale arrived, I hooked it up, all seemed fine. It went through everything I was supposed to in order to calibrate, set it up, etc. Again, all fine. My initial calibration had my normal Eufy avatar it created (dude in white shirt and black pants, white guy, blonde hair, blue eyes, etc.). After my first actual weigh in...The first thing the app says:BMI - EXTREMELY HIGHBody Fat % - EXTREMELY HIGHBody Fat Mass - EXTREMELY HIGHVisceral Fat - EXTREMELY HIGHSubcutaneous Fat - HighBody Type - ObeseIt’s like, OMG THANK YOU for telling me all the things I didn’t know LOLI kind of just would have preferred if it was like:“Ok so BLIMPINA, I am SO HAPPY you bought me so I can just make fun of you the ENTIRE TIME while you stand on me ❤️ — Love, EufyScale”Don’t get me wrong - it’s super neat and works incredibly well ~OH WAIT - It did give me a 👍🏻and said KEEP GOING! #cheerleaderThe ultimate ending here... after the first weigh in, it changed my entire avatar to match my complexion and basically blimped me out L O L !Do you remember that viral vid back in the day of the lady getting on the Wii Fit scale and it blew up her avatar like a balloon? It is basically the 2024 version of that ~ sigh lolAnyway, the 4 out of 5 star rating is not because of that (mostly because what I just went through was hilarious lol). The 4 out of 5 star rating is because the heart rate monitor built in doesn't really work. It occasionally works, but I would not trust it if you are using this for fitness. Use an Apple/Samsung watch or Oura ring - something like that instead. Thanks :D ~

Does everything you need a scale to do!
This scale was easy to setup and use right out of the box. All you had to do was pop in the batteries and download the app. You can use it without the App, but the selling features is that it auto-syncs to Apple Health, which is why I bought it.Once setup in the app, you can start using it immediately. It takes several biometric measurements and can support multiple users in one household. I havent had it super long, but battery life so far does not seem like an issue. It can support up to 400lbs and it even includes a mode for weighing your dog!Overall it seems like a well built scale with a feature set that provides a good bang for your buck!
