Amazing for the price!!!
I wish I knew cheaper thermal devices like this existed. Uses an 18650 battery and the image is very crisp. You can sync it to the app on your phone and record straight to your phone

Great value for the price.
I bought this after sifting thru several reviews and comparisons on YouTube. I was just about to send it back because it didn't come close to the sample videos that I watched for this model. Or so I thought... I was outside giving it one more try before I boxed it up and sent it back... When I first used it the images were very out of focus. People standing just 30 ft away were just indistinguishable red blobs. I cycled thru the various color schemes and nothing helped... Then purely by accident i discovered if I long press a couple of buttons (Zoom or Brightness) I could then focus the image. What a difference... Everything is clear at significant distances. For the price I'm very impressed. So here's what I like about it. The price. The features on this unit are considerably more costly with other well known brands. Compare the AGM Taipan TM15-256 for example. It has close to the same features as this unit but it's about $200 more. One feature that made me choose this unit over others is that it has a removable battery. I can swap out the battery if it runs out or I can replace the battery if it goes bad. Other units have built in batteries. It has BT and Wifi so you can connect and view it on your phone if you want. It's smaller than other units so its comfortable and small enough to carry in your pocket. With the 50hz refresh rate the video is very smooth. Other brands have a 25hz refresh rate at this price point so I think it would make the video choppy. You can mount it on a tripod if you want. The unit arrived in about 4 days so I was pleased with that. The packaging is better than I expected. What I don't like: The unit seems pretty durable and solid however there's one thing I don't like about it. The rubber eye piece that goes over the viewing screen falls off the unit very easily. If you just bump it or pull it out of your pocket there is a very good chance the eyepiece is going to fall off... I've lost it a couple times already and had to retrace my steps to find it. Not good if you're in complete darkness. This is the reason I gave it 3 stars for durability. The front lens cover has a lanyard to secure it so I wish they would have done the same with the eyepiece. The instructions that come with the unit are somewhat vague so learning how to set it up is mostly trial and error. Again it would have been returned had I not figured out how to adjust the focus.Overall I like this unit and would definitely recommend it.

Not what I expected.
Very grainy picture. For a little more money buy a pulsar you'll be happier.

Outstanding for the price! ***Updated***
***Everything was going well until it didn't. After a couple of weeks it lost focus and was a blurry mess. I was able to return it for a full refund. They do take care of their customers. Just wished it would have been better.***I wasn't expecting much. I definitely got my money's worth. I'm very pleased with the results! The recording off the app is simple.

A good fit for my hunting
I purchased this for night hunting small game at home in New Zealand. The trial runs I gave it in the US have exceeded my expectations.

Excellent at picking up heat source
The TD210 Thermal imaging monocular included many accessories with it. It came with a cloth bag with drawstring, micro-USB cord, video cable, wrist strap, 22mAh 3.7V rechargeable battery, additional eyecup, charging station, and a certified card that shows it was inspected I’m assuming prior to packaging (Photo 1). The monocular is rated IP66 waterproof so there is a rubber cover for the front lens (Photo 2) and the USB-C port on the left side (Photo 3). Also on the left side, behind the USB-C port is a dial that is used to focus the monocular image. On top of the device, you will find 4 buttons: power, brightness, color palette, and zoom, all lined up in a straight line (Photo 4). This was designed so when you hold it, your fingers rest perfectly on the buttons (Photo 5). Due to this and weighing only 11 oz, it feels great in the hand and easy to hold for an extended period. Even my 5-year-old daughter was able to hold it in one hand and use it.To use the monocular, first insert the rechargeable battery in the dropdown door on the front of the device (Photo 6). Then insert the eyecup you would like to use as it came with 2 different types, a circle dome shape eyecup (Photo 7) or a flat eyecup (Photo 8). For adjustable settings, the thermal imaging monocular offers 5 color palettes (Photo 9), 5 levels of brightness, and 3 options for optical zoom: 1.5x, 3x, or 1.5x with 3x PIP (Photo 10). To show how good the thermal reading is, Photo 10 is showing the heat from a gaming console in standby mode located in my entertainment center. Furthermore, there’s also a laser indicator along with other options in the setting menu (Photo 11).Cons –There is no normal/ 1x view on the TD210. The furthest out it will go is 1.5x. Also, while looking through the monocular, it will constantly stutter and freeze for a second. Not sure if it is trying to calibrate the image or if it’s something else.
