Battery Replacement for MacBook Pro A1502 (Early 2015, Mid 2014, Late 2013) Retina 13-inch A1493/A1582 Battery

In less than 24 hours ordered, received, and installed a battery replacement for my MacBook Pro laptop. A complete tool kit, along with step by step instructions were provided. I am highly pleased with the quality of the product, and the installation experience.

My MacBook Pro's battery was swollen to the point the the laptop would move fron side to side because it was not flat. The screws tried to fly out when removed, it was so bad. The instructions where easy to follow and some notes in the reviews helped (keyboard plug and Touch pad plug needed to checked before closing case. Batter charged right up and I was back in business in about an hour.

I opened the box and it was obvious the battery was used. It had the old adhesive still stuck to the back of the battery, and marks showing it was removed from another computer. I returned it for a refund

I'm an old computer veteran, but more of a software person who is relatively handy with things like soldering and wiring. This battery is packaged well, and the instructions and video were top-notch, including little hints in the instructions, like 'these two screws are shorter', when you're putting the ten screws in the back cover. My old battery was expanding - so much so that the back cover had a bulge in the middle, and the unit didn't really sit totally flat on a table any more. Being that it had expanded, it was probably even tougher to take out than others would be - plus it's an 8 year old machine. And that's the toughest part of the whole process. Requires patience, a steady hand, and frankly, some nerve, to apply gentle pressure around such sensitive components. You need to provide rubbing alcohol and some way to drip it onto the paddle they send you (medicine dropper would be best, I hacked it with a spoon!). But you're using the alcohol away from other components, the instructions tell you how to do it - it's not as scary as it sounds. Took me about 60-75 minutes, flipped the machine back over, plugged it in for a few minutes, turned it on, and it was already charged past 50%. And the bulge in the back was gone. As a computer person, one thing I have to say is - TAKE GOOD BACKUPS before you do it! Murphy's law says that if you have good backups, replacing the battery will go well. If you don't, higher chances of failure. :) But I highly recommend this product.
