Very easy to use I touch up my knives after each use and they’re always sharp.

I have been looking for a sharpener in the stores for two years and have found nothing so I decided to try here and I was surprised to find something so inexpensive. I'm so glad I did because this works great and is small enough to fit n the drawer with the silverware. Super happy!

Very bulky and after using it my knife wasn't any sharper.

I have only had a couple of simple knife sharpeners in my life, so I am not educated in this arena. My last sharpener only had 1 selection for sharpening, simple enough for me. When I decided to up my game a little in the culinary world and give this sharpener a try, I was a little lost with the definitions in the diagram on the box. I had no clue which slot to use and what the difference was in each one. I had to do some studying to figure it out. If I got it right, my conclusion is:#1 "fine grinding" slot position is for daily use sharpening care,#2 "in the grinding" slot position is for is for honing or reshaping a bent or damaged blade, and#3 "alternating grinding fineness" slot position is the final step and for polishing the blade.I hope I got it right, and if I didn't, I hope someone out there lets me know.It has a good grip, is easy to hold to keep your hand safely away from the blade, and it seems to do a very nice job. The lack of better instruction for all users, especially users new to this type of product, is the only reason I took one star off. My suggestion for FUVEAUZ would be to include an instruction sheet in the box that clearly defines for all users, seasoned or new, which slot does what, and why/when to choose a particular slot or slots and the order in which to do it. I would have assumed 1,2, 3 meant to run your knife through the slots in that succession, but everything I read said honing is the first step not the second one.
