Tortle Repositioning Beanie - FDA cleared to Prevent and Treat Flat Head Syndrome - Baby Blue - LG

Such a simple but fabulous product! Our 4 month old now sleeps with his head straight as opposed to ALWAYS on one side. Also, it's super cute;) Only heads up- he gets very warm at night now with his head covered so he sleeps only in the swaddle with no pjs underneath

It's difficult for me to give this a truly fair review; my son just wouldn't keep it on his head. It would often shift, and we'd have to reposition it. It also caused some sweaty baby head. I think it's a decent product for the price, and I'm sure it's great for some people, but it didn't prove to be super useful for us.

Mamas please note that this is NOT the "Tortle Air". I bought this version not knowing there were different types - my PT recommended the Tortle Air and her version had adjustable velcro straps so that it doesn't just slide around your lo's head. This version is literally just a cotton/spandex beanie (nice quality, lined) with a styrofoam tube sewn onto it. Slides right off his head with even the slightest motion.... Frustrating waste of time.

My son has a flat spot on the left side of his head and I was hoping this would help prevent it from worsening when he's in his car seat. It's not a bad concept but something needs to be changed about the design. It either wouldn't stay on his head or would fall so low over his head it would cover his eyes and nearly his nose. He didn't mind wearing it but getting it on him comfortably was such a struggle we stopped using it completely.

I like this hat. My son is 7 mo the old so I probably should have bought this three months ago. I don't think it will make much of a difference now.

I never write reviews but this time I'll make an exception: the Tortle Cap helped our 6mo old immensely. In a couple short weeks we saw drastic improvement when we combined the use of the cap during sleep and continued using PT techniques learned online and infant chiropractic care.I'm sure using the tortle cap alone would suffice as like I said we saw major improvement in just two short weeks of use:)

The general idea of this hat is good in my eyes, but my child is not willing to wear it ...seems like it's not very comfortable for him. I also think that the price is not reasonable.

My son had a flat spot before we bought this hat. I put it on him during naptime and nighttime to encourage him to sleep on the other side of his head. He doesn't have a flat spot anymore. Glad I didn't have to spend 1000s on a helmet. Now I can sleep in peace knowing my son doesn't have a funky head.
