Upgrade for kayak
Great product, I put them down with caulking on my kayak and got it hooked up to a 48v e bike battery. With a step down voltage regulator and works amazing. I like the cruise control option incase I have to paddle to go get to my destination quicker. It does go upstream in light current and in heavier current you just have to paddle with it

Works great on a Pelican Catch 100
I bought this because I am a 50 year old guy and love to fish from my kayak but was limited to my range I could go. Now, I can sit at ease and control my kayak like a video game. These thrusters are awesome. I installed them with ease. I have used them on one fishing trip so far and they allowed me more control and freedom with my hands. I caught 15 bass. They worked flawlessly and lasted for my entire 5 hour fishing cruise around the lake. I power it with a 100 amp LiFpo battery. I recommend them. The only problem I has was in some shallow weeds. But after I got out of them I put the trustees on reverse and it cleared the weeds out of the thrusters. They are perfect for me. I put them on a Pelican Catch 100 kayak.

Thrusters are smaller than you realize. Adequate but small
Far smaller thrusters than led to believe by photos. But all in all it should push me and my 10 ft kayak adequately. Not going to be a speed demon by no means but very efficient little motors. Solid little unit

It’s ok for the price
Look if this thing were any more expensive I would be extremely disappointed but it’s a budget motor. It doesn’t turn very well at all and the motors are glitchy, along with barely fitting in the mount. It also completely fails to keep up with any sort of waves and wind. I was out on a lake and I was getting pushed further and further from shore because it just wouldn’t keep up with any slight waves. On a super calm pond and day, sure you can use it but don’t rely on it. Go with the bigger option if you are doing anything more serious. I would return it if it were an easy process.

It works!
Love the item, as much as it moves slowly it's a nice and steady pace that allows you to stand up while using the propulsion on my paddle board.

Been excited to receive this item!
Using this to put on a rc boat for my son to use essentially as a floating power wheel. Was initially going to make a trolling motor rc but seemed overcomplicated when it comes to steering a trolling motor remotely. The dual thruster set up solves this issue. Will update review when I put it to use in the boat but so far everything looks and operates as expected. The seller also answered my questions over email before shipment arrived which was great.
