The media could not be loaded. This is my second UPERFECT monitor and I was impressed enough with the first 16" model I picked up that I decided to snag this 18" as well. I had been using a budget 15.6" model for both a second monitor on an articulated arm as well as for portable use when playing my Nintendo Switch at a friend's house, but the washed out colors left me wanting something with better color and a higher resolution image, and UPERFECT delivered in a way that met all of my requirements. I'm now using the 16" as a dedicated travel monitor and this 18" as my workstation secondary monitor.Smaller monitors with VESA mounts are surprisingly hard to find, and most of them only have 2x mounting holes, which is less secure and leaves a weird gap when mounting them, but the UPERFECT models are a full flat back with a full 4-hole VESA mount for secure mounting to monitor arms. They also have a nice little kickstand with VESA spacing you can buy as an accessory that securely holds up the monitor at any angle you like, and still folds very flat for carry in a case for travel.The monitor came securely packaged with a power supply, Mini-HDMI to HDMI cable, and 2x full-featured USB-C cables of good quality. You'll get the highest Hz out of the USB-C cables if looking for the fastest refresh rate. The charger itself supports several different common charging protocols so can be used for other charging tasks in addition to acting as the monitor's power supply.Setting up the monitor was a true plug-and-play affair, and all I had to do was plug it in and then set my Windows preferences for how I was using it. The color is vibrant, and the images remarkably crisp and well-defined. The built-in speakers are tinny, but that is completely typical of portable monitors and they're really there more as a backup and you'll more commonly be using headphones/earbuds or dedicated speakers with it if doing anything serious involving sound, and so I don't fault it whatsoever on that front. The overall build of the monitor frame/body is good enough for the money, with most of the cost being in the display panel itself. It's a lightweight aluminum bezel and backplate, and while I wouldn't call it bombproof, it should be tough enough for extended use so long as it's suitably protected when transporting it for mobile use. One other reviewer noted that the menu dial sticks out of the included folio-style cover, but that's common on almost all portable monitors and the folio should not be considered your only protective cover for transport purposes. I always put my portable monitors in a soft laptop sleeve inside a second hardshell EVA zip case for additional stiffened support. The folio is just an economy stand and screen cover to prevent scratches in transit. Menu navigation is easy using the conventional dial interface above the power button and it gives you control of all of the various aspects of the monitor.My only complaints are that there is a small amount of backlight bleed around the bottom edge of the monitor, but it's very common on economical IPS displays like these and is ONLY noticeable on fully black screens. Ones with even a little bit of color or grey to them make it completely invisible. I also had a couple of pixels get stuck on green, briefly, but was able to easily resolve them using the "massaging" method of just rubbing the spot with a little firm thumb pressure, and they haven't returned. In this price range there will always be some degree of drawbacks or cost-saving measures taken in the design and execution of the monitor, and as far as I'm concerned the exact right balance of features was selected to make this monitor an exceptional value. Add in the fact that UPERFECT themselves has exceptional product support with timely responses and it makes the decision to go with them very easy. A lot of the brands you find in these economy portable monitors have next to no support for them, but when I received a defective example with my first 16" model they noticed my review and reached out to help make sure that I got a properly functioning one, and turned my irritation into complete satisfaction.All in all, I'm VERY impressed with this monitor, and the company themselves.

The media could not be loaded. Having some experience with portable monitors I know the general key requirements of what's needed. A High resolution for a sharp picture , proper color gamut for vibrant picture, high refresh rate for quick response, sturdy build quality with a good stand, versatile connectivity options and of course a reputable company. My past monitor had most of these but I was looking for a upgrade, a step up. I searched around and landed on the UPerfect brand, a very reputable company with a solid warranty. It's with their 18" 2K 144Hz Portable Monitor, I found the big step up features I was looking for. First the big step up to 2K, a mandatory feature, a razor sharp 2560x1600 resolution with 144 Hz refresh rate for very quick response. In addition to 8-bit+FRC technology, FreeSync and HDR for wide dynamic range for color and contrast,a great bonus for a Brilliant picture. Photo and videos look amazing. The 18" screen is for lack of a better word is, perfect, large enough to give that big picture, larger than most laptops but not too large making it portable and fits into most travel cases you can easily get or may have already. The connectivity suite is abundant, two USB C connectors for power and device connections, AUX for Audio Output, HDMI connection for older laptops and devices and also streaming players if desired, making it all around a fantastic purchase for work or entertaining on the go. I have use it as a 2nd monitor for my laptop via a USB C cable for 2 work screens or as 2nd screen for browsing or viewing entertainment on breaks. I have even used this for viewing movies while on vacation when a TV was not present. The screen is very bright and has two internal speakers so sound is great. This device can even be use with your phone as a display for gaming or viewing content such as movies also. No separate streaming device needed with your phone. Even with or without DEX you can use your phone apps on a large screen. As far as customization, the monitor has a slew of settings easily accessible from the right side panel, from brightness, color, HDR, sound, volume, picture color, saturation, temperature, game mode, black-equilizer, freeSync, to be honest more controls than I would ever need but there for the experts. The monitor comes with all the adapters and cables you will need. I think I counted 4 cables, USBs, Mini HDMI and a small power brick. They even include 4mm Vesa screws for mounting. They have truly thought of every thing for the customer. Now as they say, I saved the best for last. With all this beautiful monitor has to offer already, the icing on the cake is that its a touch screen. I do not know what more you could ask for. The touch controls are very response on both Windows and also get this, on Android. The touch sensitivity is just like using my windows laptop. Dragging icons, opening closing apps. I tested both windows and my phone and the response is just as responsive. Now my "big" picture is complete. The addition of the touch control on this monitor make it the "Perfect" monitor. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for portable monitor with a beautiful picture. Save yourself the time and go straight to this monitor without question so you start at the top.

The day after I received my monitor, I got an email from UPERFECT's Customer Service thanking me for my purchase. The email mentioned that they wanted to help me get the most out of their products and had compiled a guide with solutions to common monitor-related issues, which they attached for my convenience. They even offered to send me a travel bag for the monitor, which I'm looking forward to receiving.It's very unusual in this day and time for a company to provide this type of follow-up after a purchase. I have used the monitor for one day, replacing a smaller portable monitor, and I am extremely happy so far. I do appreciate the troubleshooting tips you've provided, and I'll file them away in case they are needed. I do plan on travelling in the near future, so the protective bag will be a very handy item to have.It looks like I've found a great company that folks can depend on.

I love using this monitor with my small form factor PC setup. I have a shallow desk in my apartment and don't like the way a huge bulky PC gaming setup looks, so I use this portable monitor with my small form factor gaming pc so I can put it away after gaming sessions. Its actually way better than the monitor i'm used to playing games on which was 27 inches but only 1080p and 60hz. Its also the only monitor I could find that was over 1080p but less than 20 inches. My desk is very shallow so I have to sit close to the monitor and the size of this monitor is perfect. Its thinner than a laptop so I just slip it into a shelf after i'm done gaming. The only alternative I was looking at is the ASUS ROG strix portable monitor but it's only 1080p and almost twice the price of this monitor.
