Good little sign
The display is sharp and colorful, showing off different messages and graphics. It smoothly switches between text and animations, which is cool to see.

Trash
Worked 1 time and that's it. It will not play any animations or display any images, it just blinks the play button symbol on it. The only thing that "works" is the text display and by works I mean it'll display 1-3 characters, static, no movement, 4 characters? Nope whole thing goes blank. And it isn't like that is a fluke or a bad unit this is on my replacement unit. Absolutely do not waste your money.

Sooo cool!
This thing is wild. It’s such a random thing to have since i do not drive an Uber nor do I ever intend to - but im super excited to find some fun uses for this because there’s limitless possibilities! The app was easy to connect but it does take some getting used to figuring out how to configure the images on the pad itself - but a little testing is all it takes. Really a fun item and would make a cool random gift for someone you never know what to buy for!

Cool little LED sign!
Colorful and bright!Easy to install, and the app adds a lot of possibilities to what you can display with this thing.Would work nicely for custom cars, or anyone trying to send a message with their car.Would also work great for UBER drivers who are looking to add a little bit of signage in their car.

Returned it
I couldn't get this thing to do anything it says in the description. It lit up to the demo display and nothing else. Couldn't change the message or screen, app was a pain to try and use and again didn't help at all. Don't bother with this, find something else.

App's a little clunky, but it's a nice, bright display
First, I ordered this on a whim; I'm not likely to put this in my car; I have some idea that if I can decode the bluetooth signals I can use it as a dynamic display, but that's for a future project. Still, I like bright glowy things (who doesn't!), so I'm glad I got it. It comes in rolled up in a small box, with a lengthy power cable, with plenty of high-quality 3M mounting stickers, and a cigarette-lighter adapter. When you plug it in, it’s preprogrammed to scroll “Welcome”, so you can see it works before fiddling with the app, which is a nice touch.I downloaded the app, and it easily paired with the display (minor nit - it's a little confusing to figure out where to click to pair; you have to click on the text, not the icon). I had to wait for a minute firmware update. Once in the app, I was able to either design my own images/animations, or pick from community supplied images and animations. The app is interesting. I won’t do a full review of the app; it’s serviceable, but not ideal, but I’ll point out a few things. First, I really appreciate that you don’t need to create your own account to use the app, or browse and download the community submitted animations. There’s quite a large number of those, and it’s easy to preview them on your display, or download them to save for later. You can design your own too (you do need to create an account if you want to upload). There aren’t a lot of drawing tools; basically a pen, eraser, rectangles, and a mirroring tool. To change colors, you have to use a color picker each time; there’s no way to define a palette. It’s pretty basic functionality. However, you can also use a photo or your camera, which is nice. With such a wide aspect ratio, it can be a little hard to compose a photo that will display nicely, but it does work. Don’t expect to recreate Ansel Adams, you just don’t have the fidelity, but if you pick your picture right it can be interesting. The display itself is quite nice; it's very bright (oh - another nit about the app; it's a bit awkward to adjust the brightness; you can do it by digging around in "Info -> Hardware Setup", but such a basic option should be more accessible). It's very flexible, and it really feels like leather! I had no dead pixels - all in all a really quality display.Anyway, if you can get around the clunky app, it's a very good flexible display.

it's NOT Good!
App has to be re-learned and paired to reconnect EVERY TIME you use it!(I'm an IT professional so it's NOT user error)I finally got it to work ish and the lighter power unit got steaming hot AND it would only upload when I used it on a wall charger. The "sticky Pads" DON'T! STICK!Just not worth the hassle
