Works great with my build. Easy to install, and does what’s its intended to do.

-Very well made, fits my Magpul backpacker 10/22 stock very well. -the only potential negative is the need for your own tools. You need a deep well socket to hold the bolt in place and a hex wrench as well. Neither come with it. -as others have stated, it is pretty bad of magpul not to have these installed from the factory. That being said, at least if you install them yourself, you know it was done correctly so if you’re using your tool for serious use it won’t fail on you.

Great kit. Very straightforward and easy to use. I would recommend using a very small socket to immobilize the nut on the backside of the QD cup when installing.

I bought this because the new fixed carbine stock does not come with quick detach sockets. It's a bummer that they didn't include built in QD sockets like most of their other stocks, but what are you gonna do? Installs fine but tight (you'll need to hammer it in with moderate force), works fine, quality construction: it's Magpul. This will work on the shotgun stock, fixed rifle stock, fixed carbine stock, and ACS stocks since none of them include the hardware for QD swivel mounts.
