A lightweight snow chain
I have a cable chain for my Sienna XLE and got a bad experience. That snowy night it took me about an hour to install the cable chain to my car though I had already practiced at home. And the next day when I was trying to uninstall the cable chain, it got stuck. I called AAA but they wouldn't help. It took me another hour to get rid of that cable chain. And that cable chain doesn't fit my BMW X5. Though 4 wheel drive car usually doesn't need a snow chain in most cases, but we still need one for backup in car as the law states.Fortunately I found this one. It is a lightweight snow chain, almost half of the weight of my previous cable chain. And it it fits both my X5 and Sienna.I practiced to install it at home, super easy, just install the chain one by one. If you were tired, you could install only 5 - 6 chains rather than 9 - 10 chains, so it will take less time. The only thing need to remember is that it requires a flat screw driver to uninstall the chains.==================== Updated on 2/21 =====================Met a heavy snow in 2/18 night from Boreal mountain to Reno. Got a chance to use these chains. As expected, it was very easy to install. Just turned the front wheels to the right, so I could install the stuffs to half of the wheel without staining my sleeves. Then turned the front wheels to the left and install the stuffs to the rest of the half.Unfortunately, after 10+ mile drive, all nylon chains broke. I check the tires, most nylon chains were gone. Then I installed another 10 nylon chains. Again, they broke after another 10+ miles. Fortunately, there was no more snows and the road was clear. We reached Reno safely. I didn't need to uninstall the chain because they were all broken and gone.My car is Toyota Sienna with five persons, maybe it's a bit heavy. When I drove at less than 10 mph, everything seems OK. But when I drove at 15-20 mph, the nylon chains began to break. It is said the max speed is 20km/h, that's too slow.I like the easy install, but dislike the quality.

One star is too much
Bought these not expecting much. Had them in Jeep for a while, never got the chance to try them. Town I live in just had a 50 year snow event. Almost 3 feet of snow in 36 hours, in a town that averages 4 inches a year. I thought, this was a great time to try these "chains". I had already driven around and plowed snow with my bumper. At this point, I decided to try this product. I tied them around about half of 4 wheels. Rolled forward, and tied the rest of the wheel. Got up on the snow that I had already packed by driving, and all broke off in less than 50 feet. After inspection, the plastic is flexible until about 38/40 degrees. Then it gets brittle and breaks. What good is a tool that is advertised for snow use, if it will not handle temperatures below freezing? I understand these do not replace chains. But at the same time, this product should not be on the shelf. It will give buyers of this product false hope. IT DOES NOT WORK.

OK for Drum Breaks
I purchased these for our car and fortunately tested them out first. The nylon chains interfered with the disk brakes in the front of the car. The nylon chains work fine for the rear drum brakes. Make sure you test these nylon chains on your car before you need them.

Does not work
This product does not work. Used when chains were required, and drove about a mile before they started snapping off. ended up having to pay 5x as much to get proper chains on my car to make it down the mountain.. Dont waste your money and invest a bit more in a product that works

Dont waste your money.
Don't buy. I tried these in CO on 2/23/18. Installed them correctly and stayed under 10 MPH for about a 1/4 of a mile. All of the "snow chains" had broken off of the tires. 3 broke upon installation. I don't even know if they helped.

Nope
By the time we got to where we were going all of them had come off. Luckily we got reimbursed so it's all good. But definitely would not purchase again.

If your car gets stuck on mod or snow, these things will help you take your car out.
