Holds edges of skin on a cut together nicely for a smooth healing and barely visible scar. Suggest using the liquid adhesive under sides for added strength keeping it on.

This is my second order and these steri strips are perfect for small incisions.

These can be used in cases of emergency to seal a minor wound (that maybe should have sutures, yes only in emergency cases) the steri strips pull the skin closed to bind the wound for better healing... for EXTREME cases you can use with super-glue!!

It's exactly what it says on the label. A set of strips to close up the result of whatever unfortunate incident one might have with disagreeable sharp objects. Decently sticky and not too expensive for the quantity, even comes with a nice little plastic tray in the box to keep things from flapping about if you have them on a shelf somewhere instead of tucked into a storage pocket in your kit. The tabs on the strips are a little finicky if you haven't used them before, I should mention, so considering one gets fifty of these in a box, I would recommend popping one or two open for a little practice use to avoid difficulties when they're actually needed.

I liked these Steri Strips and didn't have to use anything extra to keep them stuck in place. They are easy to unpeel off the backing paper and you can cut them in half if your incision is thin. My doctor suggested changing them every 3 days even if they are still stuck on and clean the area and dry well, Using any anti-scar product didn't effect the sticking properties of the strips. The strips have tiny holes in them so any product or antibiotic you want to use can seep in. They are kind of pricey but hopefully worth it in the long run (having a thinner scar than doing nothing).

These are easy to apply and can replace stitches in most instances (though when in doubt, it's best to seek medical care). The Steristrips are able to accommodate cuts of different sizes; you just use as much as you need. I've found that the 1/4" works much better for cuts than the 1/8", which did not seem to keep the sides of the wound approximated as well and tended to fall off. If I am going to garden, I often cover the area with Coban (a dressing that sticks to itself; also available here on Amazon), so that it stays clean and the Steristrips are protected & reinforced.The box came sealed in the original plastic, which is also reassuring.

I had surgery on my foot and bandages weren't helping because it kept ripping the scabs off around the incision. When I use these strips, it helped close the incision and blocked my scabs from peeling to early. I would definitely buy this again
