I'm a caretaker for my bed bound grandmother, and the hardest part of my job is when I need to place her in her wheelchair for doctor visits. Before we were using a pillow, and all it did was slide around when trying to position her correctly, so it took forever to get her in and out of her chair, and tired her out. Plus she was still uncomfortable. But when I bought this cushion, it instantly upgraded her chair. It was much easier to place her in the chair, and she wasn't sliding around anymore. She even mentioned how comfortable it was, and she's always uncomfortable. It also helped with getting her out of the chair. She's even looking forward to being in her chair more, and hopefully going out for short walks. I understand if you're on a budget, and can't afford much for either yourself or a loved one, but this is worth the purchase.

This is a great wheelchair cushion. It fits an 18" W wheelchair perfectly. We had a very uniformly thick chair pad, but it was too easy to slide forward on it. This cushion is a graduated thickness, so that the sides and front are higher and the tailbone section is lower. This prevents slipping forward out of the chair. It also has a convenient washable cover. And it's very comfortable to sit in for extended periods of time to boot! We are very happy with it.

Our wheelchair seat is only 17" wide but since this cushion fits tightly, it stays in place without the strap. Mom no longer complains of pain and discomfort and she no longer slides forward in the wheelchair which was a constant problem. I also installed a seatbelt but even on days when I forget to buckle it Mom remains in a perfect and comfortable seated position all day. Life has been SO MUCH easier since we started using this cushion. Thank you.

My Grandma needed something to make her wheelchair more comfortable so I ordered this and it has been extremely helpful. Said a lot of the other ones she had seen looked to be pretty hard or thin so I was happy when I found this one.She uses it daily and we have not seen any issue with the material or overall structure. The only reason why I'm giving it four stars is because you do have to be careful for the strap attachments as we did think we lost one but ended up finding it thankfully!

My Mom recently transitioned to a long-term nursing care facility and complained that the flat 'pressure-relieving' wheelchair cushion they provided was very uncomfortable and caused a sore on her rear end, so I bought this to replace it. She said it is very comfortable and she no longer has a sore!

We tried several cushions. This one seemed like a good idea, as it is contoured. But the design seems to be for a small to medium sized person. It did not fit me well. Also, it seems a little hard and over firm.

This cushion really gives the added height and support necessary to enable my Mother to easily get in and out of her wheelchair.....as well as a soft ride. She likes it so much she is using it on her lounge chair in the house as well. Thank you

My aging aunt spends a lot of the day in her wheelchair. This cushion provides a great comfort to her. She is about100#, so I can't say how it would be for a heavier person. It seems very thick and supportive. I would definitely recommend it!
