Good Quality, Coverage is a little skimpy for beginner/intermediate skill level
I'm about 6 months into recurve archery and wanted to upgrade my arm guard from a low quality one purchased at a pro shop. This is a simple, high quality arm guard. Once I figured out a decent tightness for the elastic straps, the guard stays in place on my bare arm or over clothing during a 2 hour session. I docked this one star for the arm coverage. If you're a newbie or intermediate archer like me, you might have more string slap on your arm than you'd like. Unfortunately, this has a very narrow strip of plastic for protection, so make sure you align it well with your form or the string will miss the plastic and slap your arm instead. That said, if you're an advanced-level archer, you'd probably like this. In summary, good quality armguard, but if you're a new archer, I'd look for something with more coverage.
