Works great!
I love how I can schedule up to 6 meals a day and portion out how much I want each meal to dispense also! Very handy!!It is a little loud when the food hits the metal tray LOL. I got this because I have a cat that is like bulimic so I cut this plastic slow feeder tray and put it into the metal tray which made it not as noisy. It hasn’t stopped the throwing up completely but I feel like it has slowed down SOME.

This works fine
This works fine keeping our cats separated for feeding. However it soon developed a horrible squealing noise as it rotates to dispense the food. I haven’t investigated it yet and it’s still functioning fine. Also, the timing on the clock was off for a bit, it kept gaining minutes? ie, it was feeding the cats several minutes earlier than scheduled until I set the clock again.

SLEEP SAVER!!!!!
As any cat parent (owner) knows, our kitties are early eaters; meaning they want to eat at the crack of dawn if not earlier. As parents (owners), we know how annoying it is to have a cat meowing for food that early in the morning cutting our sleep time short. So enter this beautiful automatic feeder. This has literally saved my sleep. Now, my 2 cats get an early morning (5 am) light meal (kibbles), and then they get their regular wet food meals by 9 am and 6 pm and one last snack (kibbles) by 9 pm. No more meowing and being desperate for food.It has been awesome to be able to sleep without cats meowing in the morning. It took my cats about three days to get used to the feeder but it's been a month already and it works great. It's super easy to set up and cleaning is a breeze. Very secure lid, it will not open even if cats tip it over, but it is heavy enough for that not to happen. Also if you are out of town, you can program extra meals and that takes care of the wet meals they are not getting.Super happy with this product. Would recommend 100% to anybody who owns cats or dogs and wants to have an easy morning or peace of mind. ;-)

I really wanted to like it...but
I loved it at first. The only thing is the portion chart was a little confusing but I figured it out eventually. I do think printing it on the bottom of the lid would be a good touch because I've already misplaced the booklet. But now that I've had it a little over a month the issues are showingMy main issues with it are:1) The clock is not correct. I originally set it at 7am when I bought it in the middle of January. It is now a month later and it goes off 10 minutes before 7. Seems every few days it looses a minute. That's weird and inconvenient. I will have to keep adjusting the timers and clock.2) It makes a horrible noise when dispensing the food. It's only been one month since I bought it and the noise started up a few days ago. I've taken it all apart, cleaned out what I could. Put it back together... its like a grinding rubber noise or squeal and I can't seem to make it stop.3) Can't buy extra stainless bowls. I like to keep my bowls washed every day. But I also have ADHD so if I load them in the dishwasher after the last meal, they may not make it back to the feeder before the morning meal goes off. I have it go off 4 times a day. Would be nice to have an extra set of bowls.4) The bowls are a bit thin/flimsy in general (stainless steel). All in all I liked it... but now its annoying in a few ways. :(

Godsend for Hungry Kitties
Purchased this Jan. 2024 and it’s been a godsend. Our cats used to wake us up at 3, 4, 5 AM for food and after trying different methods, I finally caved for an automatic feeder. So far, really loving this one. I searched others and read reviews before selecting this device and here’s my takes on various themes:- Portion sizes will vary based on the food you feed. I did a test and manually dished out one portion of food at a time, adding it to the scooper I used to use for each meal. For my dry food (Hills Metabolic) 3 portions dished out could fill my scoop. I used this info to decide how frequently/how many portions I want them to have for each meal.- Little filter on the inside of the lid will fall, so I check it once in a while to ensure it hasn’t fallen/isn’t messing with food distribution. It says to replace the filter every 15 days to fight mold/moisture? Definitely not doing it that frequently (and not even sure where to find new filters, probs Amazon) but replacement may vary based off your food brand and local climate.- The time does mess up, think wonky alarm clock that can be a little fast/slow. Still, the time I set only varies from the actual time by a few minutes and I am now feeding them more frequently, so they are not as strict to the previous breakfast and dinner meal times and it’s okay if timing is a little off.- If you set your preferences then unplug the device, it seems the feeder will hold onto those saved settings at least if the movement is quick enough. You can put three big batteries in it as well but we’ve not done that yet (big batteries are expensive). When we go out of town (and want to ensure a power outage would not disrupt feeding), we will put the batteries in.- Both my cats are pretty bold, but still had to get used to the sound of the food being dispensed into the metal bowl – they were a little suspicious at first but now are trained to run anytime they hear the clatter.Overall, this has been fantastic. Not only do my cats not bother me as much in the middle of the night, I feel like they are not fighting with each other as much because portions of food are coming more frequently throughout the day. A fed cat is a happy cat!!

Stopped working after 5 months
The feeder had some issues from the beginning with it being loud when it dispensed food but over time it continues to get jammed and not release food at all.
