I use these inexpensive shoe trees in all of my shoes to help prolong their shape. I find these shoe trees to be affordable and they do the job. They are not as durable as the metal or cedar shoe trees, but, at their affordable price, I don't see that as a deterrent.

They probably won’t last forever and are only good for minor stretching/shaping, but the price was really good.

This design is an almost exact copy of the old-fashioned metal shoe trees from the 1960's. I know, because my old man had them back then. Today, they are made of plastic, except for the two support rods. They are easy to use, easy to adjust, light, durable, inexpensive, no sharp edges, safe to handle, really nice shoe trees. Some have claimed they are flimsy and break easily, but mine are doing just fine. These are so good, I bought another set.
