I have limited storage so this is a wonderful compact food processor. Well designed and easy to use and to clean. Not as powerful as the Cuisenart that I had for 37 years, but I would definitely recommend this one for lighter duty.

Looks great, good size, small but large enough to use as a cake mixer. I have not tried it yet, but has all the blades I need, and I expect it to be great!

I have enjoyed using my new compact 9 cup food processor from Cuisinart since March 25,2024. Yesterday I was chopping cabbage in the bowl (not the continuous feed bowl ) and when it was at the size I wanted I tried to unlock the bowl from the machine and the handle just broke in my hand leaving the bowl still locked into place on the base. I used no more force other than necessary to unlock and remove the bowl and it just came off in my hand. I checked the website for a warranty and I see that it was still under warranty and there was a phone number listed for support for Cuisinart so I just called them today. Chris told me that I used too much force to remove the bowl and that it was not covered under their warranty and that I could purchase a new one from them on- line for $42.00 plus tax but the good news was that it had free shipping. As you might expect I told him NO and that I was going to write a review of this experience on Amazon and tell everyone who is interested about their warranty. Please, if your are considering purchasing this food processor be aware that the handle on the bowl is very flimsy and yours could break off in your hand as well. So now my husband has gorilla glued the handle pieces to the bowl so that I can semi lock and unlock it from the base and hope it will limp along until I can afford to purchase a better one. Buyer Beware!

Great food processor but has a slight learning curve. Probably too large for my needs. It has to be stored since I don't use it that often. Great for shredding large batches of zucchini. I wouldn't take it out of storage for just a carrot or celery. Still learning.

For years I have used a 7 cup Cuisinart food processor to make dog food and filler for kongs: 1.5 -2 chicken breasts, 1-2 bananas, 12 oz cooked green beans, 1 cup cooked quinoa. Chicken, beans, bananas all in the processor. Easy on lid--rearrange food, keep going until pureed and then add to a bowl with the quinoa. Fills 21 xlarge Kongs to freeze for 3 very happy dogs--a weekly process. This model is the next step up from the 2 machines I've had previously. (actually I still have them but they just don't have the moves they need to chop).I don't like this one. No instructions about how the lid fits. Being modern technology challenged it took a while to figure that out. When I needed to open to rearrange chunks of chicken (cut in small pieces before adding, too) took a while to figure that out, too. Very hard to add ingredients---is there a funnel for the chute? When all done, very hard to take the blade out so all ingredients could be scraped out of the bowl. Overall, difficult to use BUT it did eventually get the job done very well. I think I will not plan on using the slicer or other attachments that arrived with this machine (I didn't use them on my old one either).It has rubber feet so it doesn't slide around on the counter.The motor sounds powerful yet quiet.Its bowl and lid are made of lightweight plastic. Looks like they will be prone to cracking.Hoping that the next few times I use this appliance that I won't have so much trouble and that it will speed the processing time for dog food and kong fillers.
