great for scalp protection!
the size is great for travel (and for the price), and you don't need a ton of powder for it to work. great for protecting your scalp. doesn't leave a residue or anything. you don't have to unscrew the powder part at all, just take off the white cover and pull down the other piece for the brush, and the powder will come up through the brush as you use it. i'm not a huge fan of it for on my face, but it is nice for touch ups when i have makeup on and can't use lotion or spray. i definitely recommend!

Good product, great value
I took this on vacation, so I used a base sunscreen as well, but I was very pleased with how this sat on my face. The formula looked nice on my pale skin (not cake, super fine - better than some setting powders!), set my make up well (used instead of old regular powder) and didn't irritate or cause my very sensitive reactive skin to breakout. I just used this and olay's sensitive skin moisturizer (on pool days, topped off with sunbum's facial spray sunscreen) and I didn't burn at all - in fact my face was several shades lighter than the rest of my body! The protective brush cover is super easy to use (ignore other reviews), its the same sort of pull up sleeve that comes on travel Kabuki brushes. I say whether it is spills, based on other reviews, I errored on the side of caution and put tape around the part that attaches the powder to the brush and had no issues. The powder came out if the brush fine during use - when I needed more I brushed the bristles against the back of my hand (as seen in the product info) - I didn't have any problem with too much powder coming out of the brush. Unless something changes down the road, I would absolutely buy this product again. I would give it an extra 1/2 star (4.5) if I could :)

Seems great so far
LMAO at the poor person who said you can’t get the cap back on without destroying the brush. You pull the sheath back up first (see pics).Looks great so far and distributed easily. Finely milled. Pink color didn’t leave a white cast on my skin. Did get a slight itchy reaction on my skin which is pretty sensitive, but not as bad as from liquid sunscreen. Saves the first day of packing so you can buy liquid sunscreen in town without cutting into your liquid packing limits. Will let you know after my desert trip how the protection goes!

Easy to use sunscreen powder
Love this sunscreen powder. It's easy to brush on in the morning and I shake it downwards before applying. I use the Fair, which seems to blend in nicely with my skin.

Not reliable for SPF (see ingredients). Does work as a setting powder.
No active ingredients list with approved UV filters - not reliable for SPF. Does work as a setting powder.Ingredients: Mica, Magnesium Stearate, Kaolin Methyl, silica, Corn Starch, Polyethylene, Isononyl Isononapoate, Octyl Palmitate, Octyldodecanol, Bis-diglyceryl, Polyayia cipate-2, Polyisobuten, mineral oil, CI 77019, CI 77891, and CI 77492.Note that CI 77891 is titanium dioxide, but it is listed second to last, so there might not be enough of it to provide SPF.I used it as a setting powder on my face over a mineral sunscreen while gardening. It was easy to apply, made my face matte instead of shiny from the sunscreen. It was comfortable to wear. You could see a slight powdery cast on my face even still visible after hours of gardening. Sunscreen did not drip into my eyes (which is one of the reasons I use a setting powder over sunscreen), and I did not get a burn, but I was wearing mineral sunscreen underneath and a hat for part of time (I burn easily). I would not rely on this on its own. It was a cool day, so I will have to test it on a hotter day. I will keep using this as a setting powder, but I will not re-purchase due to the unreliable basis for SPF.

FALSE ADVERTISING : p
NONE of the listed ingredients are considered an active sunscreen. Mica & silica are the closest this product has to sunscreen within it’s formula, however these ingredients are sunscreen “helpers” at best, neither of them in any way can be relied upon as sunscreen themselves (by my online research)Never tried it on so I cannot speak to how well it performed as a setting powder. However at about $7 per .17 ounces, it is far too expensive to use as just a setting powder alone when there are good options for plain setting powder on the market for a lot less $$$

Sunscreen Powder Easily Sets Sunscreen
This sunscreen powder does not appear "pink" in its dispenser, however it did not create a white caste to my face or skin and did take away the tacky feeling of my sunscreen as a "setting powder" just fine.I did use it on top of other sunscreen, and I did not get sunburned (even when out for a few hours at midday).I wish the brush were just a bit fluffier. But it was okay. The product's packaging contains an integrated sliding tube that you pull up over the brush to easily get the lid back on when you're finished using it.

Scalp sunburn no more
I did not know that this product existed until I saw my son put it down the parts of his blonde daughters. I always burnt down my hair’s part line and a few puffs of this product puts an end to a burning scalp.
