Excellent 4K Capture Quality!
This 4K video capture card really surprised me with how clear and sharp the recordings look. Setup was simple-just plug it in and it worked right away with my PC and streaming software. The video runs smoothly with no lag or stuttering, which makes a huge difference for streaming and gameplay. For the price, the quality and reliability are way better than I expected.

Great Capture card
I'm really happy with this capture card! It has been an absolute game-changer for my streaming setup and has completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I unboxed it, everything worked exactly as described, making the setup process incredibly smooth and hassle-free. I've primarily been using it with my Nintendo Switch, and the experience has been flawless. The 4K pass-through ensures my gameplay looks stunning on my television, and the 1080P at 60FPS recording provides a crisp, high-quality stream for my viewers. There was no lag or stuttering to speak of—it was perfect right out of the box. Setting it up with OBS was a breeze, and I was live-streaming in a matter of minutes. The card works seamlessly with my Xbox and PS5 as well, proving to be a versatile and reliable piece of hardware. It's a fantastic solution for anyone who is serious about live broadcasting or creating high-quality gameplay recordings. I couldn't be happier with this purchase and would highly recommend it to fellow gamers and streamers.

This capture card is actually surprisingly very good
I wont lie, this capture card is surprisingly very good, especially for $40. It can very much stream games at a consistent framerate, and it can go up to 1080p60fps, which is pretty good considering I stream my games off a Switch 2. And while I have noticed some people complain about audio delay, I haven't experienced any from my time using it. Now it's not perfect, I have experienced occasional frame dips in OBS, but if you're just starting out and need a budget-friendly capture card but don't wanna spend hundreds on an elgato, this is a good second option.

Works better than expected
Short story: I plugged it in, and it worked perfectly. Continue reading for the whole story: I found this model because it was priced in what I considered "the upper side of the bottom end" compared to most popular name brands, most of which come in at over $100, some over $200. I only plan to use it occasionally, not make a living with it if you know what I mean. I kept coming back to it. Honestly, I think it was because of the orange color, but maybe it was because it had the best review to price point; I still haven't been able to confirm which. Then it came, and I unboxed it, and the instructions were right on top. All 16 pages of them! This is by far the absolute best set of instructions I've ever received for anything I've ever bought on Amazon! Unfortunately, or fortunately, I guess, I only really needed 2-3 of them. And "need" isn't really the correct word, nor were the instruction pages I used actually for the capture device; they actually have the setup procedures for both OBS Studio and POTS Player with screenshots, so that's a huge bonus for anyone not an expert user of those software packages. I've been using it for a week straight now, and I'm still smiling. Great price, check, plug and play, check, provided the advertised resolutions and sound quality, check check, good instructions (including screenshots, proper English, wiring diagrams, troubleshooting steps, contact info), check, check, and check. Speaking of contact info, I DID NOT attempt to contact them. There was no need to, but given the care put into the instructions, I suspect they'd reply promptly. If you read this far, this is the capture card you want to buy.

Better quality and more reliable than my other $200 capture device!
Warning: Sometimes sellers put the expensive chipsets in, get great reviews, and then swap it out for crap, so we'll see if this review stands the test of time. In short: - more compatible with the various HDMI / HDCP standards across game systems and laptops - fewer compression artifacts - more accurate color - plug and play (unlike Elgato) I think that the good chips have gotten cheaper to manufacture, and the no-name brand crapshoots are getting better as a result. Over the last 15 years I've bought several capture devices in the range of $40, $80, and $200+. This is the best so far - which is absolutely mind-boggling - but it's also the newest. I got it on a whim, just to see if something this cheap could be worth it - as I've done every now and then over the years (but always regretted or returned them... until now!) I may buy another this year. If I find that it's been swapped for junk, I'll be sure to update... but I have hope that this really does just work - the good stuff is just cheaper than it used to be all around.

Just by Elgato
It’s worse than the cheaper one I replaced. The picture becomes grainy or pixelated. I received a VIP CARD that doesn’t work for the warranty. Audio keeps going out. Lag is so-so. Takes forever for stream labs and TikTok studio to find it as a capture card. Not worth it. Just by Elgato.

Not Bad At All
Read carefully before you buy. It does exactly what it says, I am testing this with a dual PC setup for livestreaming on Streamlabs and Tiktok. If you're fine playing at 1080p 60hz then this is a great capture card to start your journey with. This card can do 4k at 30hz also, but I personally prefer setting it at 1080p 60hz, max out graphical settings with Nvidia DLAA and it will still look good while giving you a major boost in performance. The capture quality is excellent, no loss of quality whatsoever or even lag, however the sound has a slight static on the background, not annoying but it's there, although the sounds captured are actually crispy clear and high quality. Overall it does the job very well, will update on the durability. For the price is an excellent buy.

Game, Record, Stream
If you're into streaming or recording for other projects, this capture card is very competent and deliveries exactly what it promises with a lower price tag compared to others in the market. The capturing in 1080p at 60 FPS works just fine, clear, and no lag. It’s super easy to set up. The build feels solid and compact, so it won’t take up much space on your desk. Very happy with it.
