This 80 CFM one is the right size for the our washroom, but this is so quiet and a little smaller than the old one it replaced, I think I could have probably fit the higher CFM one and it would have still fit and be quieter and an upgrade too. It has been working fine for some time now, and I have no complaints.

Even though it’s not the very quietest fan on the market, I can barely hear it if I’m not in the room I put it in and it’s far cheaper than some of the ultra-quiet models (plus, sometimes in a bathroom, noise=privacy). The installation was relatively easy. Probably took me 30 minutes. The others will go much faster. Bonus for me is that the fan I replaced was the original builder’s grade fan and it fit the existing hole exactly. It only has a 4 inch outlet, so I had to get a reducer for the 3 inch ducting that my house has, but that wasn’t a big deal. Just bought 3 more to replace the rest in my house.
