Omron Easy HEM-RML31-E BP Cuff original accessory, Medium/Large

I’ve been asked recently to take my blood pressure 3 times a day for a week at home for my clinic to observe how my blood pressure is behaving generally. I’d already purchased a Boots blood pressure monitor machine for my hubby to use at home as his GP had asked him to monitor it. Having tried it with the standard medium sized cuff made by Omron I found it too tight for my upper left arm which I learnt can give a false higher reading. This cuff is a perfect replacement for my Boots machine, though it comes with different ends to plug in. The difference I’ve found is a much better fit though it still grips tight and my blood pressure readings are lower to the extent my bp is more acceptable (todays is 126/77 I started with 146/93 with the other cuff). Happy to recommend.

Having brusied my arm repeatedly with a terrible (& not very cheap) dodgy brand, this was a welcome relief. Easy to put on one handed (dodgy brand was not). Easy to put on flat (dodgy brand bunched up and got into a mess causing inflated BP out of frustration). Stays flat when inflating (dodgy brand slipped into a V shape (??) so cuff never remained how it was attached... I think this was due to the flimsy poor quality of the dodgy brand and it had no structural integrity. No.such issues here). Stays in place when you've put it on (dodgy brand might as well been covered in oil as it slipped off all the time). So not happy about the price, but my bruised arm is relieved I don't need to do a trillion attempts to get a a reading (dodgy brand gave error messages more often than not).

I like this cuff, as its already threaded through, so you can slip it on rather than wrap it. It's a good size for larger biceps and a better width for women with bigger arms and shorter length. feels and looks good quality and works well on my machine. I use it in my practice.

Perfect ! I have a 19” bicep and have tried 3 different cuffs before finding this one. The other extra large ones that I tried were a nightmare even with the help of my wife, they rucked up, tied themselves in knots and I couldn’t get an accurate reading. Be warned that bigger range does not mean better. This one (22-42cm) is made of a more rigid material, is really easy to fit, fits me perfectly and gives consistent accurate results.

I did not realise that the cuff that I had with my BP monitor was so small, or should I say my arms are so big. But this cuff fixes perfectly without it coming undone.
