Sturdy Construction, Easy to quickly put up and take down as needed
We have always crate trained our puppies. However before we brought the last two home, at 2 months old, my husband & I attended a dog product show at our local farmers market and a breeder of French Bulldogs was there and her puppies were confined in this pen. We thought this would be a great solution to secure our new puppies whenever we would need to leave them unattended, rather than in a crate. This product is built very well, folds away easily for storage when not in use, and keeps our puppies safe and prevents them from biting inappropriate objects, like our couch pillows or baseboards or cords plugged into an outlet. Very functional and large enough that we were able to place a large Bowser Donut Bed inside this crate with plenty of room to spare for them to play outside of that bed. Highly recommend this as an alternative to using a crate because every crate we previously purchased we had to give away due to lack of storage space. This crate easily folds up compactly making it easy to store for future use.If using this indoors on tile or wood floors I highly recommend also buying the FXW Floor protectors & muffler tubes to protect your floors from scratches & to muffle the noise from the crate when the dogs play and bang into it. We found it to be such a great alternate solution we bought a second one, sans mufflers & floor protectors to use outside in our yard so they could play in the sunshine & nice weather without having to worry about them getting out of our yard as they were still small enough to fit through the bars of our fence. We also recommend purchasing the carry straps and handle to secure the crate when folding it up for ease in carrying to store. All around excellent product. We still use this product to contain them when our pest control service is out every two months to treat the inside of our house so our puppies are not anywhere near the product being sprayed which is pet safe after it drys. Takes seconds to put up and take down afterward. Highly recommend all of these FXW superior products.

sturdy pen to contain 75lb rambunctious golden retriever
I ordered this when my golden (name: Zephyr) was just a pup and first came home. It is SUPER easy to set up, just put the panels together and place the holder post inside the loops. Now that I have had it 1 & 1/2 years, I can really fill out a more complete review !!I love that this is built of very sturdy materials. It holds up well to "a beating" from my now 75 lb, very strong golden retriever.Because he is a puppy, he is constantly in to EVERYTHING. So when I do not have eyes on the dog, I put him in this pen. It, admittedly, does take up a fair amount of room in my family room, but it is absolutely worth it, as it contains the dog safely so I don't have to worry about him getting into something that will hurt him (including ME after he's chewed something else up!).When he first came home, we put Zephyr in a traditional (though very large) dog crate to sleep and when we were out of the house. I could tell he didn't like it, as he really fought us hard every time we tried to put him in the crate. We have found that he is content to be in this FXW pen both when we are out of the house at work/ school and to sleep (even though the pen is on a different floor / house level than the one on which we sleep). Now, I ordered extra panels and set up a pen in the family room and one in the living room. Our pen is the 40 inch tall version (WHICH IS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY - ZEPHYR can jump over the baby gate that is only 34 inches tall). We found to our chagrin HE WAS ABLE TO GET OUT OF THE 4-PANEL set up in the living room. He put his paws on the top, stood on his back legs, pushed, and that was enough to get the pen to lift and fall over.In the family room we have used 6 panels, and although Zephyr jumps up and puts his paws on the top of that, standing on his 2 back legs, to greet us, he has never (so far) been able to upend the hexagonal shaped pen. This pen was expensive, I admit. But the dog LIVES in this pen when we are away from home. We use it every single day. Knowing the dog is contained and safe when we are away from home is vital to my sense of security for him. And so although it was pricey, it was absolutely worth the price we paid.I would recommend this brand to anyone, and would STRONGLY ENCOURAGE ANYONE WITH A BIG DOG BREED to stick to this brand and style of pen!!! It is worth the extra money to get the 40" tall panels.

GET IT!! SO MANY USES.
I can't say enough about this fence! I got it for keeping my bulldog contained when camping with the RV. Once I got it, I found so many other ways to apply it's usefulness at home. I use it in the house to keep the dogs away from the wobbly toddlers and I also use it in the back yard. It allows my dogs to be outside while we have pool parties but they also can't get in everyone's face while they're eating. I found it useful to have in the back yard also during overnight hours to keep the dogs from going behind the shed where the skunks like to hide at night. I can also keep my toad-hating bulldog contained away from the area where the toads like to hang out. I'm a little woman and can set this up in any configuration by myself in about 5 minutes. I recommend using a rubber mallet to push the posts into the ground so you don't damage the paint on the post tips. Tip: the more curves you have (less straight lines) the more sturdy it is. So far my 54lb bulldog has not knocked it over and it's certainly too tall for him to jump. It looks very nice and is a great addition to my back yard. I will also use it to block the grandbabies' access to the pool. IF I had a complaint, it would be that it takes 2 hands to open the gates, but I can live with that. At first, by looking at the measurements, it looked like there would only be 3inches of post to go in the ground however, you actually have about 5-6 inches that goes into the ground. You could also easily reinforce it with tent stakes. GOOD BUY!!!
