15X Macro Lens

Great value, easy to fit in place of the regular lens cover, and whilst the lens quality isn't great - the image gets very soft away from the centre - it is extremely good value for money. I like to leave it on the bird-feeder and get close-up video of the birds coming for seeds.

Great lens - good price

Very well made, easy to fit and looks awesome.. The only thing is, it doesn't quite give you as much macro as it says it does. It only allows you move closer to your subject by a matter of centimetres before it goes out of focus again. A fair price, but don't be fooled if you're after those super sharp close-ups, it'll provide some sharpness to your existing close shots, but nothing closer.

Fits gopro 12 perfect but christmas gifts so not used yet. Looks quality feals good 👍

Bought for underwater macro filming - I'll let you know the results in November! For now though, this directly replaces the standard cover (Hero 11) and fits with a quick twist. It fits inside the GoPro official underwater housing - but of course cannot be changed during a dive.

Not the best out there i am sure but they will meet my needs, someone needing professional images would want something better.

Fantastic fits perfectly and the lens quility is superb

It takes some trial and error to get the distance between the object and lens correct so that the object is in focus. Once in focus, even small movements of the object closer/further away from the lens, and it quickly goes out of focus. I tend not to use this lens much as a result, and just stick with the standard GoPro lens, shooting in a higher resolution than I need, and then zoom/crop the image to achieve a reasonable 'close up'

La única cosa que creo mejorable es la aberración óptica en la periferia del enciuadre. Si el elemento principal esta centrado, todo bien. Por el precio que tiene, es correcto.

The field of view for the standard lens is about 20cm before you start to lose focus and definition, this lens changes that to approximately 8cm before loss of focus occurs. Obviously there's some distortion from the curvature of the lens noticeable at the edges of your shot, however it performs better than I expected for an aftermarket GoPro macro lens. Good purchase for my desired use.

This lens deserves recognition. I film for my YouTube channel and find the standard GoPro Hero10 focal distance appalling. When filming close-up technical photos and videos, I have to hold the cam 13-inches or further from the subject to get a sharp image, then lose significant resolution in cropping. This 15X Neewer lens allows close-up, full-frame sharpness. The focal distance (2.75" to 4") is narrow, and depth of field is shallow, which can be awkward for some shoots. However, until GoPro makes a Macro Lens Mod lens for cams earlier than the Hero13, this Neewer lens is the solution.

I can't recommend the Neewer Macro Lens enough! It’s an absolute game-changer for my GoPro (I’m using it with the Hero 12).
