WAM v3.0 (Wicking bed automation module) Greenhouse pump automation controller.
Nice box! I love the removable grid panel! I don't have all the components yet so I can't share the complete build. I can show the mounted Square D ground bar and the relay I will be using to switch the power on from the normally open relay. Logic boards arrive tomorrow. Grid makes mounting components a breeze. It's very easy to get things nice, neat and square.

Worked for my application - but got here late
UPDATE 2 WEEKS LATER ----------------------------- OK time to correct a few things on my original review of this unit. I increased my rating to 4 stars. Previously I stated this junction box had no rubber seal, but when I took the cover off yesterday to adjust a component I have mounted inside, I saw there IS indeed a rubber seal around the rim of the cover. Also, we had a number of heavy rains since the install, and everything inside was nice and dry. The manufacturer got in touch immediately after my review regarding the case and they are sending a replacement so no one can argue with the sort of customer service! So the ONLY thing I have a complaint about with this unit is the retaining screws that hold the cover on. If you have this box mounted high up on a wall like I do, it can be very frustrating to get these small screws centered into the holes in order to screw them in. This can result in them either getting jammed off-center, or, worse, if you bump the cover while vertical in the wrong way, the screws can easily fall out, where upon the adventure of finding these small screws begins. Other than that, the unit seems to be doing what it is supposed to - keep electrical and electronic equipment secure and dry. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So I ordered one of these to accommodate some network gear for a camera install. First off, it did not arrive when promised by Amazon, in fact it was almost a week late which hosed up my entire project. That's a different story. This thing will work for most applications, however, it is made of cheap, not that thick, plastic. I worried it would crack open if I accidentally dropped it. The cover is held on with 4 very small screws at each corner (the sort of screws one might find on a cheap battery-power toy holding the battery compartment closed), which, if you do not hit them just right in the hole with your screwdriver, have a tendency to fall out, or, mess up the threaded hole into which they are supposed to seat. The unit is in fact so flimsy, when bolted to a wall, it can flex out of shape, making the cover more difficult to seal. The cover also does not have any visible rubber or padded weather seal, which leaves me wondering just how water/moisture proof it truly is. Time will tell on that front I suppose. If I had to do this over again, I'd probably by a proper PVC electrical junction box. Frankly I do not believe this thing has any sort of North American electrical certification if you plan to run power lines into it. Probably another exhibit to file under the old adage "you get what you pay for".

Great for outdoor Cameras
Great for low-voltage work (network cable, etc.). I put a rubber gasket around the box cover to ensure water proof, but works well for outdoor cameras.

Good accessory
I was in need of an entry gland for my compartment on my RV to bring cables from the bottom into the compartment... this did the job.. critters out cables in. And the box look clean and professional 👌

Right quality, wrong price.
Reviewing: (10 x 7.9 x 3.1 inch (255 x 200 x 80 mm) OK box for an ehhh price. Rubberized grommets are well-fitted and feel like a decent quality rubber material. Very sparse mounting options for interior components. Because of this, I had pre-designed a backplate with a grid of m3 holes 5mm on center with cutouts to slot over the inner protrusions, so it would sit nice and neatly in the base. Fortunately there are drawings with all of the necessary measurements. Unfortunately they are not completely accurate. The set of double holes are listed as 186mm O.C. when they're actually 196mm O.C.. This isn't a big deal, just that I put too much trust in the drawings up front. For ~$20, I'm not super thrilled with the overall construction. I'd be much happier with a price point of $12-15. Not only is it a pain to access because it requires removing all 4-screws, the screws feel like they're softer than the plastic and probably won't last very long if frequent access is needed. I would have expected even a low-grade stainless screw here considering their key role in the weather-resistance system. Honestly, aside from slightly better aesthetics, you could probably hobble together a more functional unit from a plastic ammo box and some silicon for about half the price-- and that'd have a latched/hinged lid. I purchased this for a portable DC powered lighting rig (an automotive light bar on a portable tripod). It houses a 10A switching power supply with decent room for wiring including a 30A relay, the fuse harness for the DC supply, a switched power supply bypass circuit to allow direct 12V input from a car battery via banana plugs and finally a 40mm blower case fan to help the components breathe through a breathing tube

What would you use this box for? As an amateur radio operator I would use it for a coaxial cable entry point for my shack. Where the box is usually mounted low to give better access to earth stakes and where the cables come in beneath the radio. And for this it is perfect……until you go and try and reattach the lid. The holes for the lid screws are large but the screws are tiny. Not even my magnetic screwdriver could hold the screws horizontal enough to get these tiny screws centred in the large hole. Much swearing, much dropping tiny screws in the dirt, a sore back from stooping so low for so long and I was ready to kick this box to kingdom come. In the end the only way I could do it was to dip my screwdriver in silastic and shine a very bright light down the hole. Success at last but my plan to cut back drinking has failed tonight.

I bought this to house a circuit board that contains a wifi antenna for remote control of my pool pump. The requirements were that it be weatherproof, bug proof, and looks fairly good. First off I had to drill through the back to create mounting screw holes. Not a big deal. Second, the rubber grommets were high quality and you can cut through them to insert wiring while maintaining a fairly tight seal. No creepy crawlies going in so far, but as for weather I'll have to wait a year and update you. We get extremes in weather, 30 degrees Celius in summer, -30 degrees in winter. Hard on electronics to be sure. If you are using it as a true junction box you won't be disappointed. Ok one year update. The plastic corners are cracking, likely due to weather. Where I inserted the wires spiders are getting into the smallest holes. The gasket between the box and lid falls out, but I guess that's minor. I've learned that I need to seal the gaps in the grommets with silicone. I wanted to paint the whole thing black and whilst the plastic is easy, the soft rubber grommets did not take the spray paint well, leaving them sticky. Any suggestions? The electronics held up.
