Incorrect wiring
I think this relay module is labelled or wired incorrectly. The water pump vcc (purple wire) should be connected on the opposite side in the diagram. If connected as shown here, the water pump will run when the soil is wet and stop when its in dry soil. We want it to run when the soil is dry and stop when the soil gets wet. Other than that all parts are working just fine. Another downside is that there is case for the parts. When you finish wiring, you have to improvise on how you will wrap it up.
