Is it Jasper? YesIs it red? Not even close. It's a disappointing dull orange brown.

The color was much more orange then what was shown in the picture on any device I viewed the ad on. I still like red jasper though, so it was not a huge issue for me. If you bought this expecting a deep red though, you might want to reconsider as stones vary.
