I haven’t used this rolling pin and mat yet but all I can say is, wow. I can already see the mat can lay flat down immediately without having to lay it down flat and place something heavy on it for 12,24,48 hours. I also can attest that this rolling pin works. Doesn’t leave those harsh lines on your sugar cookie dough that the other bulkier ones give. It’s small so it can fit right into your utensil holder for easy access. Love it all. Absolutely love it. If you plan on making pizza dough, rolling out pie dough, sugar cookie dough or fondant, this is most definitely the kit for you.

Most dough types do not stick to the roller or the mat. These tools make baking and the cleanup much easier.

Delivery sucked. Left on my neighbors post of fence in rain above their house number of 124. Which was clearly not my address.

I like this set a lot. Only complaint is that you cannot use flour on the mat as it causes dough to slide completely. I use this stuff for making homemade pizzas. But I'm not sure if I will use it for making pies given that small downside.

This set is great! I think my favorite part is the mat, but the rolling pin is great, too. Both do well with preventing sticking, although as with any rolling pin you still need flour. The rolling pin is a perfect size, and the mat stays in place on the counter perfectly - my only real complaint is that the mat is kind of of awkward to clean and dry because it’s so large and floppy - but I don’t think that’s a design flaw and wouldn’t prevent me from recommending this or purchasing another one. The spatula and brush that came with this set are a little small but definitely come in handy from time to time.

It works perfectly, especially if you purchase the sizing rubber bands that go on each end and allow the amateur baker to roll out dough to a perfectly consistent level across the entire surface every time, which is critical for even cooking. The rubber bands come in 3/8, 1/3, 1/4, and 1/8 thickness. This is a great brand for the bands: REGENCY EVENDOUGH BANDS ROLLING PIN RINGS. It's available on Amazon and is only $8. The silicone surface of the rolling pin is great for keeping the dough from sticking to the pin, so you don't have to keep adding flour, which changes the composition of the dough.

This is a well made rolling pin that has a nice, soft material for the roller. It is worth 2 or 3 times the price. Also, a large rubber mat is included. The mat is worth the cost alone, so this is a great value. I suggest that if you are looking for a rolling pin (or not searching for one) you should jump on this great value.
