I bought this journal for my husband for Christmas. He is one of those hard-to-buy-for men who already has everything.He does love monogramed things, so I took a chance and ordered it with his name in small, gold letters on the front. There is a nice choice of colors and the cover is a rich suede. I chose black for him and the finished product far surpassed my expectations. The custom job took no time and it was mailed in good, protective packaging.He loves his journal and calls it his gratefulness log, as each morning he enters something he is grateful for.Best gift ever.

Love the quality of the binding. The personalization seems to be holding up well, have had it for a couple months and the gold has not started to wear off. I gave 4 stars because I would not keep a pen in the little elastic holder on the front. Tried one time and it seems like it would just stretch out immediately. I also wish this came in larger sizes! We are using this in place of a traditional baby book for our daughter and I love the dating option at the top of each page.
