Excellent reference book and has everything the big hard back has for a fraction of the price and shelf space.

My big hardbound version of this is getting somewhat worse for wear and I wasn't sure about these due to text size, let's face it, it's half the size. Needn't have worried, it's great, and is excellent because it doesn't take up half the room on the table when I'm GM'ing. Much easier to have open for the relevant encounter.Got it after I tried the core rulebook in this format and liked it so much I got the bestiaries too. Durability? Can't comment as only had it a few weeks, but seems to be fine.

They are the perfect size for me! They're just big enough to maintain all the detail and artwork needed, without the combination of books weighing a tonne. I really cannot be more impressed with the idea, layout and all round joy these are!

Great that this essential book is so essential ;-). Info on a whole bunch of monsters included and clearly laid out with quality illustrations. The appendicies on how to upscale monsters is not written very clearly, and is perhaps over-complicated... but still a great book.

Exactly as the original hardback version, complete with all artwork. Just smaller and cheaper.

Excellent in its new smaller format. Hope they do all of the books like this. Much more transportable.
