Inexpensive Touchscreen CarPlay Upgrade!
Installed this portable CarPlay screen in my Honda Odyssey and it works great. Setup was very easy—no complicated wiring, just mount it, connect, and go. Wireless Apple CarPlay connects quickly every time, and the touchscreen is responsive and clear. I love having Maps, Music, and Messages right on the screen without replacing the factory stereo. The backup camera is a nice bonus and works well. This is a perfect upgrade for older vehicles like mine. Highly recommend!

great headset
I love this portable screen. It improved my driving experience. I wanted CarPlay without ripping out my entire dashboard. This was the perfect solution. Installation was incredibly easy. I just stuck it to the dash and plugged it in. It was ready to go in literally five minutes. The suction cup is very strong and secure. It is very stable sitting on the dashboard. My phone connects wirelessly the second I start the car. The touchscreen is crisp and bright. It is very easy to see, even in direct sunlight. The touch response is snappy. Using maps and spotify is a joy now. It feels just like a brand-new car. The audio flexibility is also a huge plus. I use the AUX output to connect to my car speakers. The sound quality is crystal clear and loud. The Bluetooth connection is rock solid. It works perfectly and does everything it says.

Received a replacement
So I bought this for my work truck about 5 months ago. It's okay, works as intended except one HUGE problem. The wireless Android Auto constantly disconnects. Sometimes it'll work fine for a few minutes and then lock up... And then reconnect on its own after a few minutes. Or it'll lock up and disconnect from the phone. Rebooting (by unplugging the power cord and plugging back in) it always fixes it. Happens randomly driving around town and in rural country. Happens morning, noon, and night. It's a huge pain while using Google maps, I missed so many turns! I troubleshot it for months and finally gave up (thought maybe something interfering in the truck or maybe an issue with my phone); now I just use it for Bluetooth streaming cause it stays connected flawlessly for basic Bluetooth streaming. And I know the issue doesn't stem from my phone because I've tried multiple phones. I even took this unit out of my work truck and put it in my dad's car and the same issue continues! And it's so random... once in a while it'll work for 30 min straight and then start locking up/ disconnecting. But mostly, it starts within the first five minutes of driving. And I use wireless Android Auto in my Mazda CX30 with absolutely no disconnects whatsoever in that car. I've used Android Auto in rental cars with no issues. Update: The company reached out to me; I was a little surprised. They offered to send a replacement unit. I received that a couple days ago and so far it's been solid with no disconnects. So it appears the issue was just just hardware... We'll see how it works over time and I'll update this later. Been a week and still no issues. It works as I always hoped it would now and for the price, it's such a value.

Real user review
We have a 2005 Honda CRV and I wanted to add a backup camera, but I was also interested in Android Auto. I usually just mount my phone to the dash and use that for music and maps (I already added bluetooth a few years ago to the car). But with the added screen, I needed something to replace the functionality of the phone that would no longer be on the dash. And Android auto fits the bill for sure (but that's not really what this review is about). Honestly, the price was a factor, but the reviews were more what swayed me. I would have paid double this for a unit that works really well and will last considering how much effort it is to install and run wires. For this review, I'll start with the cons, because I think they're more important and outweigh the pros heavily: CONS - The backup camera is AWFUL. A-W-F-U-L. If any kind of sun hits it, all you get is silhouettes. And despite the listing here, it does not do well at night. It's just a black screen with some things barely lit up by the reverse lights. Also, not sure how this is 170 degrees. The thing has no peripherals. I'm always scared I'm going to hit someone. Also, the guidelines for the camera on the screen CAN be edited, but they do not save and just revert back to the default, which for me make them totally useless. Honestly, I think that this camera makes my car less safe than more, which was kind of the entire point. - The screen quality is kind of awful too. At night it's a little easier to see, but generally, google maps on Android auto is so hard to tell the difference between roads and everything else. In direct sun, forget about it. You will lose your way with directions. I tried night mode and changing all of the display settings and could not get the image to be any clearer. Also the display has this weird blue/green tinge that makes it hard to see certain colors. There's a "hue" setting in the display settings but the slider does not seem to do anything. - Instructions were basically non-existent. They tell you to wire the camera to the positive on your reverse lights and then send you out into the world. PROS - Surprisingly, given the other issues, the touchscreen is pretty responsive and works well. There's maybe a tiny but of lag, but it's not really noticeable. I was expecting something less snappy. - The length on the cable for the backup camera was thankfully long enough - I like that they give you 4 options to get audio to your stereo. Originally buying this, I thought I'd use bluetooth. But I found that the aux out was actually more convenient and had better quality (also bluetooth from phone to unit, then unit to car seemed a little much). Overall, if I could go back and do it again I'd pay more money for something with a better camera (though how you're supposed to know, I have no idea. the reviews I read here said that it was great, but obviously something fishy is going on there).

if you're looking for a cheap carplay with simple setup, this is it.
pros: -functions almost identically to the screens on cars with built in carplay. if you're familiar with that and don't have issues, this will work well. -support for aux audio (my car's bluetooth audio is quiet but the aux is loud so it's nice to have this option. great for older cars and i would assume newer cars with better bluetooth as well) -connection to the carplay is quicker than how long it used to take me to auto connect my iphone to my car's bluetooth so that's a plus -not expensive for what you're getting -comes with all the cords you need for setup, including an aux cord if you don't have one already cons: -the mount works, and is decently easy to set up. had some issues with the screw not making contact with the threads. might contact the seller to see if they can replace this one part. this might be user error, not sure if this is a common issue. it's mounted and funtions like normal, just a lot looser than i would prefer it to be. don't think this should turn you off if you would otherwise buy it though. haven't tried yet (will keep the review updated as i use it more): -support for movies on an sd card (haven't tried it yet but will be nice to watch stuff on my work break where i usually chill in my car) -phone mirroring -backup camera (have not installed yet, that's a project for another day)

Great CarPlay screen
This Apple CarPlay screen works exactly as advertised. The display is clear and responsive, and the touchscreen reacts quickly with no noticeable lag. Wireless CarPlay connects easily every time, and sound quality through Bluetooth/FM is solid. Installation was straightforward and did not require any modifications. It’s a great upgrade for cars that don’t come with built-in CarPlay. Highly recommend for the price.

Awesome Upgrade — Easy Install & Great Features!
I recently installed the Portable Wireless 7" HD Touch Screen Car Display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and it has completely transformed my driving experience! 📱 Wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto: This is the best part — no more plugging in every time I get in the car! My phone connects instantly and the interface is smooth and easy to navigate. I can use Maps, Spotify, texts, and more hands-free without fuss. 📺 Crisp 7" HD Screen: The display is clear, bright, and responsive. Touch controls are smooth, and everything looks sharp — much better than my old basic radio screen. 🚗 Easy Installation: I was worried it might be complicated, but the setup was straightforward. The instructions were clear, and it fit nicely in my dashboard without looking bulky or out of place. 🎙️ Great for Safety: Hands-free calling and voice control with Siri/Google Assistant makes driving safer. I feel way more focused because I’m not fumbling with my phone while driving. 🔊 Improves the Whole System: Audio and navigation sound quality are better, and the unit pairs seamlessly with my car’s speakers. Overall, this portable wireless CarPlay/Android Auto screen is an excellent value — it’s intuitive, modern, and really adds convenience and safety to daily driving. If you want a simple way to bring your car up-to-date with smart technology, this is a fantastic choice! 🚘📲✨

Works but temper expectations
Currently being used in a 2017 Kia Sorento with factory radio. While the product works and is straight forward for anyone with experiencewith AndroidAuto, running into issues with the display. The touchscreen is reponsive and accurate. Having the option to use Bluetooth over the factory radio or use the built-in speakers was nice so on a recent trip one phone was connected to the radio to play an audio book while this display was attached to another phone for navigation and used the device speakers. Biggest complaint. Everything is extremely washed out and doesnt get close to appearing as the image in the listing shows. Adjusting contrast, hue, brightness, etc. has helped but trying to find a sweet spot between being bright enough to be seen in daylight yet still be able to get details (with everything being nearly all white) has been a problem. In AndroidAuto (maps) mode, it will not go into Dark theme even with the theme selected on the device and on phone in settings. Being able to see the screen during the day means the screen is super bright at night. Automatic switching between light and dark theme hasn't worked yet. Still adjusting. Not that its a big deal but date and time reset when the car is turned off and power to the device drops. Haven't tried other features yet (screen mirroring or back up camera for example). I did have a problem initially setting the device up, discovered 2 separate issues that were resolved. Use the provided power adaptor, using another power adaptor that is too low of amperage will keep the wifi portion needed for AndroidAuto from working properly.
