ULIGOTA Self Heating Cat Mat Thermal Pet Bed Mat Self-Warming Pet Crate Pad 16"x20"

My cat Benito loves this warm pad! Sleeps for hours on it. It's self-heating so no worries about having to plug and leaving pet unattended. I'd suggest for inside cat only, unless you leave in a place where it doesn't snow or gets ridiculously cold. It is soft. You can wash it if you need to, and size is big enough.

I have numerous animals that have vet visits off an on and this pad would be great, better than a newspaper because of the padding. It will still slide around if the crate bottom is hard plastic because the bottom, although advertised as non slip, is made also of a harder type material. In fact it makes crinkling sounds when moved. So it i slick despite the little bumps on it. So, I wondered how it would be received as a pad too keep my cat off my be cover. He laid on it, shifted around a little and laid his head down and then moved again to begin cleaning. He never did settle down until I removed it and he immediately jumped up and laid down, looked up as if to say "thanks, I wanted my "blankee". So for travel in a crate it is washable and normally animals aren't relaxed anyway when traveling in a crate so I am recommending it. And I am not going to knock any points off for losing to what I have provided for comfort. The point would come off for being toted to be non-slip yet it as slick as any thing nylon, but has a plastic stiffness. It works well as a pad for a crate, not meant for soft comfort.

When my cats lay on this pad, it is gets warm and they love that! I plan to buy another so they don't fight over it.

My outdoor cat, Rosey will not sit/lay on it. Sounds like plastic inserts and does not stay warm outside. Okay as a fabric protector.
